HB2003Participant
I have tried it here in Greenville, SC a couple of times and never came close to getting my money back. However, I know some folks in other areas have had success with them.
I will finally be in our local phone book in Oct. I have been using Money Mailer and had very good response from that.
HB2003ParticipantThanks a lot…
HB2003ParticipantAgree with all the above… It seems that most the folks that are serious and not just price surfing will end up booking a cleaning over the phone after I give them an approximation based on their info. Like BSutton said, sometimes I am a little on the high side and sometimes on the low side.
I do free estimates, but try to book them on a day that I am in that area as well. Like they said before, you can tell alot just by how the phone conversation is going. Just use your instincts and best judgments…
I try to avoid going out of my way for those that want to haggle for the low-ball price. Those usually end up being the nastier carpets to clean anyway…
HB2003ParticipantHBSeattle,
Thanks for the info. Do you know what brand it is or teh name of it? I may try to look it up or find something similar.
Dan
HB2003ParticipantHBSeattle,
Does that one from the hardware store spray a fine mist as well? Have you been happy with it?
L Turner,
Thanks for the info on the compressor. I assume they are worth having over the manual bicycle style pump…
HB2003ParticipantIs it in the shape of the virgin Mary???
HB2003ParticipantI had the unfortunate opportunity to do extraction work on my own carpets. That took some serious hard work and time to complete. That made my mind up to stay away from those types of jobs in the future…
HB2003ParticipantThanks for the feedback.
Laura, it is not until early March of next year. They will be taking applications within the next few months. It is the only EXPO of the year in this area. The cost will be around the $800-1,000 range.
Thanks
Dan
HB2003ParticipantA quick fix is to copy and paste the info to a Word doc and then print…
HB2003ParticipantJust need a little “Bling Bling” with that shirt, some shag carpeting and fuzzy dice for the van, then look out! May even want to get some spinners for the buffer wheels… 8)
HB2003Participantlol… 😆
HB2003ParticipantSo, these shirts are better that TAG and AXE… 😀
HB2003ParticipantI joined the BNI chapter here in Greenville, SC. I have been a member for just under four months now. I have been very happy with this and do recommend it. I have received enough business from them in the past few months that probably triples what my annual dues are. And, things are just now starting to look even better since I have built up some trust and solid relationships with the other members over the past few months.
If you join, give it a few months to start building steam because there is a trust building phase you will go through early on, but once the other members get to know you and the quality of Heaven’s Best, you will start to see more and more referrals coming your way.
I don’t think there is anything better for the future growth of a business than some good networking and relationship building… 🙂
HB2003ParticipantI think it depends on your market. Some areas do great with the mailers, etc. Others may not. It’s hard to know what works best in your area unless you try some different things and track the results…
HB2003ParticipantI know there has been some issues with Sign a Rama and the quality of decals, etc. Myself and others have had some issues arise and we passed our concerns on to Cody and staff. Cody has been working with them to work out some of the kinks. From what I understand, we should be hearing something from Cody within the next few days or so…
