    I am curious what you mean by the bad experience with Overland. I have helped you coordinate on the 4 jobs that you got from this and the 2 payments you received were 1- within 45 days and the other was within 30 days. Seems pretty quick to me considering some take 60-90 days. From my understanding these jobs were pretty easy and you didnt have to do any marketing efforts.

    Does anyone had any job from Overland Supply ?

    I have very bad experience with them.

    i agree with Ron
    I think as state owners we should be helping each other without worrying about 1000.00. In the end it will all come out in the wash. if we are trying to live off the 1000.00 fee we are in the wrong business.
    I think we should help each other no matter what, we are all in the same boat.

    I think for us to sale franchises we have to be a little on the aggresive side, If we have the perforation or not we are inquiring to have a response from that customer. Whether they choose to respond or not is their choice but like dirtbag said if maybe they knew our background it would solicit a response. I have spent around 2000k in the last 4 months on the internet and nothing has clicked. I have to keep trying other avenues until something happens. I am very much open to the idea and think it is great idea.
    I think it is very safe to say that there are a number of customers out there that if they knew our background and there was territory available to them they would buy. HOW MANY SALES HAVE WE LOST!!!
    Our options are somewhat limited on how we can reach out to a possible buyer, I think that if there are bullet points on who we are and what we are inquiring about then it can certainly come across the right way and not push a customer away from our operator, I think that it is too sensitive of thinking, people get solicited all the time and for us to have a short section on the eval card is not much and doesn’t even have to be mentioned to the customer by the operator unless he wants, they can see it for themselves.
    If I look at the past year on how I received my leads I would say:
    94-96% through Franchise 50
    1-2 % through other franchise postings we have
    1-2 % through click pay advertising
    1-2 % from other operators
    This would be about 40-50 leads in the past year
    So I look at this and say more creative things need to happen and this idea is easily done with out spending alot of money or resources, for a small fee we can a have pre-paid postage on them.
    I think Ron’s idea on a finance company is a great idea!!!

    After talkling to Jim Dickey he siad it will help to link websites for placement on the click/pay advertising i have set up a domain for selling franchises in georgia
    can we all start listing our websites so we can all use them as links to each other

    I wrote before i thought so i will apologize for my negative reaction in writing my comments above. I was trying to be nice and make a open invitation to the seminar and was pretty frustrated when it was thought that this would not be a well organized and professional seminar. So as we move forward and make this a positive affair i will think before i write.

    It is with great regret that the above posting is not valid any longer. Due to the phone calls i have had to field and the narrowed mindness thought process of some of the state owners i am going to close the seminar only to Georgia operators. Sorry for any inconvienence this might have caused any of theother operators that wanted to attend.
