We have done a couple of wood floors and really have not seen a dramatic improvement in how the floors looked and we also followed the video to the letter. I do forewarn the client that any scratches in the wood will remain, as we are not going to sand the floor. Nonetheless, surface scratches that I expected to come out, did not. I am not sure if we are missing something.

    Greg,

It is a great idea. I have recently sent out over 200 intro packets to the listed property management companies in San Antonio. I have received one call so far. How do you handle the initial contact and follow-up? Thanks.

    Guys,

For what it is worth, you can request that a proof of any ad be emailed to you before it goes to print, including yellow pages. Any company that can not or will not provide a proof for your final approval should be avoided at all costs.

Thanks guys. I will certainly give it a try. Anything that saves time on those tough jobs is okay by me.

Don’t forget to add the cost of outfitting the van with supplies and equipment, plus fuel. I strategically chose my pieces for my second van, limiting the cost. Good luck.

The challenge with this type of tile is that it is very porous and absorbs whatever is put on it. I have asked to see if we can get a product that will work effectively to clean and seal, as in this case, the tile is absorbing it as well as the grout. Home Depot does sell products specifically for this type of tile. Adds cost to the job. This tile is very popular down here in the south.

Thanks Matt. I would not ever advertise us as such. Am interested, since we say we are “environmentally safe and kid and pet friendly” if we are using a product that would pass the smell test to be considered “green”
