No problem Mr. Wilson. Is that damn Dennis the menace still bugging you these days. 😀 Check out a post by Grant Brown titled “advertising we all live for and it’s free”. This can be found under the advertising forum. I wanted to bring attention to it because it belongs under this new forum for Heaven’s Best in the News.

If you guys have been to your seminars and saw the second version of “give them the pickle” you see Heaven’s Best is one of the best “pickle givers” in the biz. That’s great advertisement for our company.

Although the economy is hitting hard for us here in South Texas, we are not giving in. It’s always a great time to be with Heaven’s Best. No one can do what we do. They may be doing something similar, but it is all of you out there who make us, as a whole, successfull.

Being #1 in the franchise business review ( http://www.franchisebusinessreview.com ) is outstanding. That is why it’s important for you guys to fill out those surveys. Number 1 three years in row guys! Potential future franchisees/customers see this stuff and are wowed at what they see at the top of the list—Heaven’s Best. I know when I searched for franchises 4 years ago. I always looked at the top rated ones. Now we are there. Get excited about what you do and how people feel when you clean their homes. The economy will thin out those steamers that can’t survive. When it’s all said and done when it comes to survival of the fittest, Heaven’s Best will be there. When it comes to enviromentally concious minds–which are growing rapidly world wide– we are the only ones who can claim truthfully, we are enviromentally freindly, or “green”. This can only lead to the green, no what mean. 😆

Anyway, I get excited about this business. It has become more than a business to me. It has become my passion. Enough for now. Just wanted to vent good feelings on all.

    God Bless,

Try looking up “salesmen” or “employees” under the search engine at top of page after logging into bulletin board. I beleive this was discussed recently. I think it is somewhere under advertising forum or misc. I hope all is well.

Thanks for the all the info and letting me pick your brain. I greatly appreciate it. I know that one advertising medium is not enough, especially in a large population such as mine. Thanks again. God Bless.

    Hey Ed,

People to tend to assume that the Rio Grande Valley, especially people in North Texas and abroad, that South Texas is a poor area. According to welfare statistics, a third government aid and state aid (food stamps–aka Lone Star), medical help, utility bill help, welfare, etc.. That is because a high portion of the population is poor and does need assistance. There is also a high portion that get free government help with the aid of fake socials, id’s, free loaders in other (nicer) terms. I am not trying to stereotype or offend anyone. I believe the rest of the country does this to South Texas. My point was, if I should consider the commercials to reach my target market which is obviously high end. If I were racist against hispanics, I don’t think I would be living here bro. So don’t be offended. Stats tend to be meaningless sometimes. Especially when people don’t actually live here. In my home town back in Ft. Worth, there were white trash free loaders as well. The numbers claim the Valley is one of the worst. I agree to a certain extent. There are those who need help and those who take advantage. So, if I offended you, I apologize. A high number of my upper end clients are Mexican Nationals and they are some the nicest people you will ever meet.

Thank you so much. I enjoyed your article in the May Newsletter as well. I’m looking to go zip code specific in Mission, McAllen, Edinburg TX. There are about 100,000 give or take subscribers to cable here in South Texas. I am little worried about the whole Direct TV competition thing but not too worried. We meet witht the guy next Thursday. One more question to bug you with. What is your population? I realize this varies market to market regardless of population. My area is 90% plus hispanic. We have a high end market though. Trust me on that one. The rep had mentioned to me on the phone about the lifetime network–a channel catered to women. I noticed Oxygen as well. I have a packet of the channels by the way. We really want to do this. I will assume the pricing to be higher in my area due to extreme population. I will be looking at ratings. Any suggestions from you to prepare for meeting would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again Bryan. I appreciate the info and hope this helps those who read all these postings between you and I. I am also curious as to why the 1st two weeks of the month for your ads. Are you doing this the whole year, or certain times of the year. I apologize again. Just picking your brain.

    God Bless,

PS Bryan. Which HB commericials are you currently using?

    Mr. Wilson,

I would suggest matching them at $25. $400 for the halls is awesome. My math shows 140 rooms according to your post. That equals a very nice pay day. If these are your typical hotel rooms, or even if they are not, you are coming out on top. I wish I could get that much per room. You could go to $10 a room and still make good money. My average pricing is from $7 to $14 per room. The upholstery, halls, lobby and other public areas are where I make most of my cash on hotels. Good luck and if they want to pay $25, then charge $25. Strongly suggested.

Everybody looked at me funny when Rick said that. Since Rick wants to take it to the grave, let’s just say, I am a pet friendly guy. If I had that kind of leg power, I would be in the NFL. 😆

    Thanks again guys,

    Rick,

No more kittie through windows bro.

    Thanks Bryan,

Is this all on cable, or are you mixing in local tv? I was thinking of just doing the cable. How much is this costing you guys? Is this any time frame or did you guys have specific time frames? I know with cable you can target specific zip codes. Let me know. Thanks for the info. Cody had mentioned you guys at our seminar in TX.

Big thanks and appreciation to Cody for coming down to San Antonio. It is greatly appreciated. I am ready to go, go, go. Thanks to the following:

    Kyle Torres
    Violet Aden
    Mike Dooley–i didn’t call you matt 😀
    Loren Brown
The Stevens family–sorry if I spelled your name wrong.
    Ric Munson
    Jeff Miller

Congrats to Ric Munson for the HB service award and Mike and Matt Dooley for operators of the year.

Hope I didn’t forget anyone. Thank you all for your informative info. To find the commercial ad material Violet used at meeting, go to http://www.heavensbestads.com and look under Mike Nowlin’s Packets. I hope I helped you all as well with info on the bulletin board.

Stats on bulletin board for all operators:

Over 7600 postings–Half of those by 10 people.
301 total registered operators–Several with no post at all.

No one says you have to use guys but this is one of the most important tools in our business in my opinion. I hope all is well. Thanks to all at seminar and wish you all success. Let’s help each other and stay in touch.

Wanted to know how commercials are going for those running them. We set up a meeting time warner cable for after mothers day. Want to know if they are still working for some of you, if you run them. Ferris, let me know. I hope all is well. We are ready to take it to the next step. The seminar has motivated Trisha and I more than ever. God Bless.
