Gary is right. It is regulated state to state. I have to mention again though, it has already paid for itself. We have been with Capital for 2 weeks now and have had 2 jobs so far. Both those jobs made the insurance money back and then some. Thanks for contacting Monica. She has informed me that about 50 have e-mailed or called. That is great guys and makes her job easier. Remeber, she wants us to be her first choice!!! I received confirmation to clean the Famous footwear today.

L Burkhard. No, they do not require a fee from you. I am sure they get something but it doesn’t come out of your income, only the additional insured mentioned in previous posts.

Hey Blairt, I just noticed your post, that is my invoice number. I will call you tomarrow—2-16-07

Sometimes you get lucky and it scrapes off without having to use any products but as mentioned above, dry solvent is the way to go. Use your “tool” or razor blade when customer is not around.

The fee mentioned above is a one time $125 to add Capital to your insurance. They will only use you if you have atleast $1,000,000 coverage or General liability. Thanks Blairt for mentioning Heaven’s BEst to her. You are right. You can negotiate price. If not accepted then they just choose another cleaner. Like I said above though. If you can read what I am typing, then you must be an owner/operator of Heaven’s Best, so if you sign up, you will be capitals 1st choice.

It cost us $125. It depends on your insurer. Some companys cost nothing. That is really the only requirement. Guys, it is worth it. This $125 has already paid for itself and then some. This is the jist of how it works:

    1. Monica or a rep calls you
    2. Monica says “i have Famous footwear for you clean”
    3. Then she will tell you how much they are willing to pay.
    4. you go check it out and accept the job or not.

I know some of you will be leary on number 3 up there. These big corporate offices already have a number so you don’t get to qoute it yourself. I know that can be tricky but it’s very simple—-you look at the location, how bad it is, how big, etc

then you call Capital’s rep back and say I’ll take it or no I won’t. Then capital will find someone who will. Here is the great part though. YOU WILL BE CAPITAL”S FIRST CHOICE because they love Heaven’s Best. Monica understands if you won’t clean a huge store for next to nothing. We have close to a million here in south texas and no other Heaven’s Best so we get first choice on all the available stores. Any other questions, feel free to call me. Some of you already have.

I’ve had those moments too bro. I feel ya. I don’t think I am God’s gift to Heaven’s Best. I’m just a research kind of dude. Brian has taught me more than he knows. If I had 1700 clients, I would bite a bullet in a heartbeat just to try something out to see the results, trial and error. I posted and said what I said becuase there has been a lot of controversy over how to properly clean leather. One thing we can agree on is that none of the pages I posted really have the answer. I was just trying to help dude. By posting those I learned that I wasn’t puting enough cleaner. So, see bro, I caught myself in a contradiction, but hey, it’s all good. Hope you guys have fun. Hope you win the van bro.

    God Bless,
    Mike
