I wanted to bring this back to the top. I think on a daily basis, why not run a natioinal ad. I wouldn’t know how to structure a price for this nor do any of us, other than corporate—I assume, know how much this would cost us. Why not take the risk though. One common consensus from all of us is that spring is usually busy for the majority of us I would hope and why not try it for 3 months at least. What if it worked guys. I think it would play a major role in getting us into a manager/boss situation than a operator situation. Or, maybe those of us with so big a population could try it out in our areas. I am closing in on a million people here in Texas, if not already. From previous replys, there have been some for and some against. I don’t mind getting down and dirty with the carpets, tile, etc, etc… According to my poll here, the majority rules but not near enough votes to even think of it. Let me know some more thoughts on this. It got brought up on the advertising section, which I should have put this under in the 1st place.

FL18ParticipantI had mentioned the possiblity of a national tv commercial which all of us would be involved in, whether it was a part of a franchise fee increase, or we all split it between the bigger cities such as ours. What would you guys think of a national TV commercial. I posted a this topic a while back and am not sure if it’s under this heading or another. I will try to find it. If not, then see if you guys can find it. Some operators agree. Some don’t. What do you all think.
Mike Nowlin
FL18ParticipantNot really. What avenues do you use, or what works best so far for you guys? Give me a call if you would like.

Thanks for reply. Still would like to hear from some others.

FL18Participant-What’s your population there Mike B.? So Wednesdays huh?
-Gordon, you say Tuesday. Do you still use franchise xpress, Gordon?
-Smith, thanks for the info, and have any of your operators or you tried franchise xpress?
-Mike B.; wow, 200 to 300% return on investment. How many did you run to on your first run and how long or do you run every month. I think I saw some info on one of your ad’s on another post.
Thanks guys.
Keep ’em coming. I really am considering this. It’s a good price for the amount they send out.
FL18ParticipantWe always see Rainbow-rain on carpet and chem-dry, steamatic driving around and their heads turn every time. Of course we are looking at them, but not making it so obvious. They do work.
Mike
FL18ParticipantNice to meet ya Evan. Hope all is well. Use the bulletin board for help bro.
God Bless,
Mike
FL18ParticipantFL18ParticipantAt least you tried Dooley. 😀
Mike
FL18ParticipantYes Sir Dooley,
If your given the tools, why not offer it. It is just more avenues to help your business. How are things in Canyon Lake Dooley. Are you guys using the franchise express flyers. If you are, how is it going for you?
Mike
FL18ParticipantThose machines are pricy. Our buffer is able to handle it but it would take you forever with the 17 inch diameter of the Nobles.
Mike
FL18ParticipantNeil’s right on. That is the same site I used for some pics posted on the bulletin board.
Mike
FL18ParticipantI am sure us operators in Texas would appreciate that info Loren. Send it my way to heavensbestsouth@sbcglobal.net

FL18ParticipantJust me and the wife bro. These guys clean once every 3 months so it’s not too difficult. Some of them go 4 months. Keeps us busy in slow times, but we need to get more residential going. I spoke with Daniel today Washington and he mentioned he had a hotel he was cleaning once a month. That would be great!!! I can only do so much that these owners/operators of these hotels are willing to do. A lot of them don’t want to spend anything for anything, but we are working on them daily to get them to clean more often. Thanks for reply and hope you get some more hotels. Not a racist, but the majority of these are Indian owned and are mostly familly to each other. Primary name we run into is Bhakta, Patel. I spoke with an operator from North Carolina who mentioned he worked for a Patel. They are not the easiest to work for but when you need the work and jobs, you have to get ’em you know.
God Bless,
Mike
FL18ParticipantYou might be hearing from me soon, thanks Ammon.
MikeFL18ParticipantI agree with LBurk. It’s not terrible but these stores could be really bad, super stained, super bad high traffic, etc.
