Don DietzParticipant
im using the hoover conquest comercial not sure if everyone else is using the same vacuum but it has the clear dust cup and cloth bag and my biggest problem is the dust that gets trapped in the bag. i find it a big pain to have to constantly clean the bag out and it’s time consuming. do these hoover a bags fit inside that or is there an easy faster way to clean the dust out with out having to turn it inside out and hose it out all the time? i cleaned the whole thing just yesterday and i already have to clean it again cuz dust literally fly’s off the bag.
Don DietzParticipanti usually price mine at 10 dollars a room/hallway and couches and chairs and stuff usually depends on how much fabric there is to protect size, etc. i had a real hard time sellin the stuff when we started. we were trying to sell at 12 cents a sq/ft but that didn’t work. i have found also though that if i clean say 3 rooms ill tell them it’s normally 10 dollars a room but if you have me protect all 3 rooms ill do it for 25. it doesn’t take that much protectant to do those 3 rooms depending on the size. i wasn’t sure if i was making money on it that way so i kept track on the last couple bottles i used. one bottle i actually sold for $95 by the time i used it all up. that’s not bad considering they cost $40. i know i can push it and make more though.
Don DietzParticipantout here at the beach i have to deal with alot of pet stains and sand so my unit can get pretty smelly but i just make sure i rinse the reservoir tank out after each use and i run water through the hose too to clean out any trapt dirt. and in my mixture (thanks dan brady) i use the 101 and orange deoderizer and citrus boost. you only need 1 to 2 ozs or orange deaoderizer and i’ve been using 3/4 citrus boost but i may cut that down a little bit. also i’ve tried puttin deoderizer on the red filter but thats a bad idea cuz it shoots out of the blower if it hasn’t dried out completely
Don DietzParticipanti get asked all the time how we are better than steamers and i simply tell them the facts i hear from other customers. steam cleaners leave there carpets soaked, stains always come back, and sometimes they leave funny smells. and i stand behind my work 100% it’s kind of sad when people tell me they have never had a carpet cleaner actually want to be called back on mistakes.
