Out of the suggestions listed so far, Phoenix or San Diego would get my vote. I would also like to add Scottsdale, AZ to the list.

Hoover Dam sounds fun! Down fall to that is they require a group. I’d like to go to Hoover Dam as well, any of those interested in going, get w/ me once we get down there, and we’ll coordinate getting a group together. I like the idea of just walking the strip.

Hi everyone! I can’t believ Vegas is 2 weeks away!! I’m getting way excited to go and meet every one that’s going to be there! Any way, down to business here. There have been a few of you that have called me the last few weeks about problems you’d been having w/ the HB Schedule program, and it involved me sending a copy of you bakcup to the designer.

I”m happy to say that those problems have been fixed!! If you will open the HB Schedule, go to help, and check for updates, you’ll be able to get the most up to date version that has these problems fixed. Also, if you’re having a problem w/ old invoices coming up, and you know those customer’s are in good standing, it’s coming up b/c the invoice never got closed out. If when you go in to make a payment on an invoice, after you’re done w/ the invoice be sure to close it out as well.

If you’re unable to get the update through the HB Schedule program, call me, I can walk you through getting it another way.

Everyone that can not access the FTP site, needs to be certain they’re doing it from either I-net explorer or Fire Fox, those are the two that I know it will work w/. I know that MSN’s web browser it will not, I think AOL will but I haven’t really heard anything there.

If you can’t gain access to the FTP site, you need to clean out your history, cookies, temp i-net files, and cache. If you don’t know how to do this call me, and I’ll walk you through it. also, be sure you’re typing all the information in as follows.

    ftp://69.20.128.29
It comes up asking for a user name and password.

username is: hbuser (all lower case)
password is: flyer (all lower case)

Thanks for the post Brian! It’s great to see the involvement on the board going up a lil’ bit! 🙂 Burning what you need to a CD and then giving it to your advertiser works just fine. Do be rest assured though, there is a way you can access the FTP site w/o having to go through the operator’s only page on the website.

It is completely safe to send your advertisers directly to the FTP site, in fact we encourage it b/c that’s where all the ad’s are! Off the FTP site, you and the advertisers can view and download, but you can’t change the file on the site, so it’s completely safe. Please do, send your advertiser’s directly to the site and don’t give them your username and password to the the Heaven’s Best website.

For those of you that can’t find the post about the FTP site, here’s the info again.

Congratulations on your new Operator, Ferris’! The system is working–one of our Operators referred two brothers-in-law to the business–one in North Carolina and the other in Texas. Nothing for Arizona yet but our turn’s coming!

Looking forward to seeing all of you in Vegas!

Hi guys, to answer your question about the ftp site. Any one in the company and their advertisers can access the FTP site w/ a user name and password, see previous posts for username and password.

It’s not that you need an expensive software package to open the site, you can open the FTP site from your web browser, what you need the software package for is to view any other file except for .jpg or .tiff, other words, anything that is .ai you would need the software package for, and that’s what your advertisers will have, is the program to open those .ai files.

Hope this helps, if you’re utterly confused let me know and I’ll try to explain better! 🙂 Also stay tuned, I”m in the process of posting a mailer that Brian and Kelly Sutton e-mailed me.

Mike, sorry to hear you’re still having problems. What you need to do is go in and clear out the cookies, temp internet files, browsing history, and the cache. After doing this, the problem should be fixed.

I just got off the phone for with our website coordinator they are as we speak, working on a fix for the debug problem. The board at times can be rather finiky!!

At times what you need to do, and I would recommend doing this on a regular basis is clearing out your history, cookies, temporary i-net files, adn clearing your cache. If you don’t know how to do this, feel free to call me and I’ll walk you through it.

I will let you all know as soon as the problem has been fixed! Thank you for your patience
