Not a dead issue, we are still looking and trying to find a competative price package that is suitable.

Law makers are still working on this a little bit. Things move slow in this feild, it is still moving, it will just take some time.

    Nice insight.

It sounds very similar, and may have influenced einstein in his quote.

Which one are you trying to watch, the Quicktime or the Xvid?

For the quicktime version, make sure you have an updated quicktime.
For the Xvid version, make sure you have the Xvid codec installed.

I am currently exploring some options to stream these videos using the flv format, or flash video file. They will stream as they play, and have a high compatability. I will still leave the .Mov and .Avi files up, as you can’t save .flv movies for later.

Chem-Dry is the biggest competitor. They have 2-3 full page ads in the yellow pages and hit the area with newspaper flyers as well as direct mail. There is also a company called Freshstep. Has any one heard of them before? Usually when I go to peoples homes they mention CD but are always disappointed the second go around.

    Too Late, I sold it.

I took it out to give it to the guy, wow, there was a TON of dust on that fan. I took my can of air to it, yeah, dust stom.

on a side note. Its amazing how much a video card can affect system performance. I’m not talking about games either, but things like word processing and internet. I had to stick in an old Riva TNT2 card til my new stuff comes, and my computer doesn’t run nearly as good as it used to.

I worked on Wall Street for 20 years. Right out of High School. Started as a clerk then went on to Options Trader, then became a Stockbroker. Always worked for small firms with no pensions no garauntees. Sept 11th came and that began the process for finding a way out. Between downsizing and merging and electronic trading I knew I was getting squeezed out. Found this business on a christian franchise website. I am the first guy in New Jersey up and running and things are going a little slow. just getting the name familiar with people is a daunting task, but I know I made the right decision to get in now.

    Ron,
I know how you feel. I come up with my tech tip every month. Sometimes it feels like there is nothing left to talk about. The things i have to realize though is that sometimes people need to hear the same thing again. The same tip or suggestion explained 6 months later can have a completly diiferent effect. It will be worded differently and it will take place at a different point in time.

Now i’m not by any means suggesting reapeating everything, just a broad topic here and there.

    Baden Neilson:

The invoice number to increment from the last used entered invoive.

So if i used 3355, then next invoice would be 3356. That way we can start at a high number instead of single digits.

Or even a pop-up box asking for the invoice number.

So, you want to add the contacts in but not the invoices? But on the other hand you want to save the invoices for a later time?

When importing data (with exception of v3.5 to v4 transfers) you will get the invoices and customer lists, and it will replace your existing data.

I guess it would be possible to use 2 backup files. BUt i wouldn’t recomend it, as it would be time consuming and a high risk of losing data.

Let me know if i have answered your question.

    Tyler
