I am trying to replicate your error, and if i can, it can be fixed.
Also, what build version are you using?

It all depends on how you look at it.
You would have to be more specific on what you deem is “organic”
If you use the “7. Chemistry. Of or designating carbon compounds.” defenition, then yes, it is organic.

    or·gan·ic (ôr-găn’ĭk) pronunciation
    adj.

      1. Of, relating to, or derived from living organisms: organic matter.
      2. Of, relating to, or affecting a bodily organ: an organic disease.
      3.
      1. Of, marked by, or involving the use of fertilizers or pesticides that are strictly of animal or vegetable origin: organic vegetables; an organic farm.
      2. Raised or conducted without the use of drugs, hormones, or synthetic chemicals: organic chicken; organic cattle farming.
      3. Serving organic food: an organic restaurant.
      4. Simple, healthful, and close to nature: an organic lifestyle.

    4.

      1. Having properties associated with living organisms.
      2. Resembling a living organism in organization or development;

interconnected: society as an organic whole.
    5. Constituting an integral part of a whole; fundamental.
    6. Law. Denoting or relating to the fundamental or constitutional laws and precepts of a government or an organization.
    7. Chemistry. Of or designating carbon compounds.

    n.

    1. A substance, especially a fertilizer or pesticide, of animal or vegetable origin.
    2. Chemistry. An organic compound.

I have talked with the programmer, and a mac port will not be possible at this time.

The suggestions i gave might be the only options you have.

I will work on getting it to function on a mac, and let you know how it goes.

If this is a problem, what other buffers are recommended so that we can avoid this situation.

Is it possible to add to the software the option of exporting a partial customer list? Say exporting the customers within a given time period? Reason, I’d like to use a mail merge for my reminder cards.

    *update*

I have been working with the web host on this issue.

The problem is that many of the outbound mail servers that
Hotmail uses to send messages are listed in one or another Real Time Black
List servers for being open relays. This blocks some of the Hotmail servers from sending messages to us at Heaven’s Best. Right now its a hit and miss. Some accounts come through fine, and some don’t.

I’m working on a white-list for people with hotmail accounts. This will allow certain e-mail addresses through regardless of what server they come from.

If you have had trouble sending e-mails to anyone at the corperate office, then please call me or post a message so that i know you are being effected.

I spoke with the superintendent of schools in my district. She loved the idea and asked me to put them in every school. It’s been generating pretty decent work.

In the local paper you can probably see the postings of real estate sales. I just started sending out ” Welcome to the Neighborhood ‘” letters with a flyer and magnet. I’ll keep you posted on the results

I assume you don’t have a new Intel Mac.

    You have a few options.

    1. You could probly run it in Virtual PC. Its a program made by microsft that allows Mac users to run Windows Xp on thier mac, and then run the HB program within it.

    Pros
    – Commercial Product
    – Been around a while
    Cons
    – 130$ + 130$ for a licence of windows
    – slow and buggy
    Website: http://www.apple.com/macosx/applications/virtualpc/

    2. Assuming you have a mac with OS X, its based on FreeBSD Linux, you could use Darwine, and Mac port of the Linux program Wine. It is a win32 emulator that will allows you to run win32 applications. It will run single applications without having to run windows.

    Pros
    – Free
    – Only run needed program, not all of windows
    – No need for a windows licence
    Cons
    – Not commercial, open source community for help

    Website: http://darwine.opendarwin.org/

If you need help setting up either one, then give me a call. I will have to bring in some other hardware in to walk you through it.
I have used Wine in Linux, but not OSX, so i couldn’t tell you how to do it off my head.
