Also, look at how they actually performed the transition – on our live server … Tyler at his ripe old age of ?? … knows better than to do that. Tyler’s gut instinct to bring the new site up on a test server, check it, review it, etc., then cutover to it live was exactly what they should have done. But the outsourced staff, … blew it.
… Unfortunately, most paid techies don’t have Tyler’s instincts.
Mike, your the man. 😀
…oh, and i’m 24.
Dan ChildParticipantThey are actually.
Upholstery—4043 C $20
Sprayer—-5025 C $10
Dan ChildParticipantYes, its on the FTP site under:
/Fonts/LLOrder387795f/Fonts/OT Family/Neue Helvetica/This folder will conatin Light, Medium, and Bold Fonts.
Dan ChildParticipantSome of the major spelling errors and glitches have been taken care of.
If you seen any blatent problems, please feel free to post about it. Just remember that its still a work in progress.
Dan ChildParticipantThis may be one of the very few websites, other than homemade, that does not have the credit given on the bottom of the pages for the designer’s company name.
Actually, the higher the profile site, the less likely you will have credits for designers. Most pages that have the designers name on them are cheaper sites bought by individuals. Generally the cheaper the site, the more likely to have a signature at the bottom. Go have a look around, google, yahoo, ebay, http://www.chemdry.com/ , http://www.stanleysteamer.com/
Dan ChildParticipantThe website changes are out of my hands. The glitches will all be worked out.
We were not planning on having the site updated “live”. The plan was to update it completly on another server and then switch the DNS over to that server. Yesterday the developer started working on the live portion, and by the time we noticed, it was easier to let them continue than to try to reverse thier actions.
Everything should be done and fully functional within the next 24-48 hours.
The operators only section is up, so that you can still place orders.Dan ChildParticipantThere were no pictures uploaded for the long sleeve shirts, that why they were not working.
I just got done uploading and placing them, they should work for you now. If you are getting the same error on other areas of the store, then that particular item probly doesn’t have a picture yet.
Dan ChildParticipantThe new spotters are on the store page as of thursday (6-15).
The shirts have all been updated with correct pictures. Remember that the long sleeve shirts have a two week lag time on shipping.
Dan ChildParticipantI am currently working on updating the pictures as they become available.
The short sleeve shirts for example have pictures updated already, but not for the long sleeve.Keep checking, the products will be updated as we progress into the new logo.
Dan ChildParticipantAs far as i know, the program wasn’t designed for a estimate.
To do an estimate i would just go ahead and make a invoice for that particular person, print it out and then delete it. I would delete it so that it would not cause problems with the financial portion of the program.
Unless someone else has a better way of doing it, that how i would do it.
Dan ChildParticipantMike,
Thoes are Ammon’s, i just posted them for him.Dan ChildParticipantA new update (Build 34) is out. It should fix the double entry for adding items.
If someone catches anything not working properly, please let me know.
Dan ChildParticipantI adressed the problem in this post.

It explains how to fix it until the next update comes along.
Dan ChildParticipantI have posted the images, and a link to the original publisher document under each one. You will need Microsoft Publisher to use the downloaded files.

Goto “File -> Setup”
Make sure the options tab is selected.
Under the “Job Grid Preferences” make sure that “after hitting ENTER key” is set to “Jump over to $ or $/SqrFtFeild” as illustrated below. This will solve the problem.
A fix for the “Remain in feild for next entry” is being worked on, and should be included in the next update. -
