ParticipantThis sounds like a job for the “Dog Whisperer”! Ha! I’m in agreement – there is no way – short of removing the foundation, floor, and probably 3 feet of dirt underneath, that all traces of odor can be removed. Let’s face it – pets smell traces which we can never duplicate with any machine!!

ParticipantI’m meeting with my YP rep this week also. I am shrinking my ad in half but still going in full color. Plan to spend my saved YP bucks in our local paper – which I believe will be more effective here anyway. Presence in the YP is important for credibility and professionalism – but I’m very sure it is not the best place to spend money advertising in my market! My advice, whatever ad you are considering – be careful, and plan to underspend on YP!!

ParticipantHappy New Year to Everyone!! I usually use the regular green stripe pad (I believe #201) with the dirt napper first, then follow with the green woven turf pad using the regular buffing drive plate, then finish with a towel if necessary. This has worked very well for us!!

ParticipantHey! I would really like a copy of that also! Thanks for sharing! jwmdrum@yahoo.com

ParticipantAmen to that Mike! San Antonio is a great central location and a good destination!

ParticipantI start at 159.95 for 3 areas with protector and add 40$ per area over 3. I sometimes reduce the amount for small hallways. My pricing includes protector – I do not even offer the option of ‘not’ including it. Commercially, I usually charge about .35 per sq ft with everything included. It’s the results that count! After they see how our results turn out – no one ever complains!

ParticipantThanks for the info!! I too have been getting tired of pumping by hand – ready for one these compressors which can plug into a power port!! Sounds like there has been some trial & error with the electric pumps – do any of ya’ll (yes, I’m from Texas – ha) have any brand/model recommendations??

ParticipantJust out of curiosity, how many pounds of pressure will the sprayer take?

ParticipantThanks for the info Matt! I have heard some people suggest a 24-hour dwelling time – just wondered what kind of results people were getting. Have a great Christmas!!

ParticipantWow…. now that is what I call COLD folks!!! When your sprayer hose freezes on the way to the van!! Baden, without a doubt the rest of us are wimps when it comes to understanding what you guys go through on a daily basis!!! ha! I think I’ll throw another log on the fire – it’s all the way down to 46 degrees 🙂 (summertime weather for some of ya’ll!)

ParticipantHey, you could at least go up to 29.95! hahahahahaha

ParticipantHi Mike –
I still would like a copy also! I’m sure you are really busy – that is good! Here’s my email again: jwmdrum@yahoo.comCJones
ParticipantThat’s really interesting – wonder if it is just for a specific region of the country that they are going to cease. I say this because last month I just redid my complete policy with them and they never mentioned any possibility of not renewing. I know that I actually write my checks to The Hartford however. My policy includes 2 million liability and a full ‘janitorial’ stretch covering everthing from products, equipment, business loss etc. If I am correct, I think it is running about 35.00 per 1000.00 in annual payroll. (just too lazy to get up and look – ha!)
