    HI Mike,
Last Sept., Oct. I ran a total of 60,000 and it almost paid for itself.
I lost about 1,000. In the end, it made for good Name Recognition.

I had a good responce to “Free Stain Guard” for every room cleaned.
    and
“Get $10.00 Off” (If you can believe that! I couldn’t believe that it worked.)

** Fine Print ** 3 Room Minimum. Some restrictions may apply.
I also put an expiration date on these. I found that I had to do this, I was getting calls off of postcards that I sent out 3 yrs. earlier, ADVERTISING A CHEAPER PRICE.

    Ron,
What your asking for, may not be what the owner is looking for.
I would imagine that you have either finished the job by now, or passed it by.
The owner is most likely looking for a hard sealer, like on wood floors.
I would check with the local building supplies and see what they offer.

    I agree with Jeremy.
Every call that I have received for Texas A&M University came from word of mouth or the local telephone book.

The update for the new logo came out today.
It looks great, though it prints out too small on the invoices.

Maybe corp. could look into doing a large water mark on the invoice.

The more you tell me about this, the more it smells.

The only thing you can count on, is that the gov’t. office carpets won’t be covered in grease.
Give the telephone a try, I truely believe that you will find the
“run around” to be very limited. Most cities have only 1 office that receives vendor applications. Take special precautions on the phone-
Your not looking for a vendor permit, your looking to become a vendor for the city gov’t.

    Good Luck

If you need a little more convincing- Why pay someone your hard earned money, to do something that you can do Better?

    Dave,
If you want gov’t. business… check with your local city gov’t.
Its the easiest way to begin.

If you want to clean the Federal Court House, go ask the court clerk where to begin the process.

If you want to clean the State Capitol bdlg., call the main reception line and ask. They will tell you how.

Best of all, these ideas will cost hardly nothing.
Getting a gov’t. contract isn’t as hard as you may think. As a matter of fact, its easier than getting a $ 1.00 refund from “Ma Bell”.
    Good Luck

Matt, you might like this a little better.
Several years ago, I began offering Real Estate agents “Special Pricing” to clean their clients homes. Its been five years now, and I hold claim to 60% of the agents in this town. (pop. 175,000)

My “special price list” – simply put – is one room free.
Now for every customer that moves away, I am replacing them with at least 2 others.

    I agree with Ron.
The website is “.us” NOT “.gov”

This sounds like a for profit, private business “bending the truth” to get YOUR money.

I grew up in a boat shop, working on boat motors.
I joined the Navy as a diesel technician and ended up working on forklifts.
After the Navy I spent the next 8 years working on forklifts.
I woke up one day and said that I would not turn wrenches the rest of my life. I immediately began managing a friends restraunt for the experience.
My introduction to HB came in the guise of the only cleaner that ever showed up on time, and never missed a cleaning without a telephone call, to me at the restraunt.

I’ve been with HB for the last 6 years.

    Cody,
I have noticed that several of the franchisees have purchased the Sprinter, and that corporate has created a deal on the Chevy van.
My question is: Can corporate set up a deal on the Sprinter’s?

In addition, Dodge has the “Business Link” program that may provide vehicle upgrades such as shelving, cargo cages, and interior tie downs.

Joel… That shirt is really going to smell.

I suggest “Tag” body spray for men.
