    Hi Den
It’s great to find someone else who is interested in girl softball.
What college does your daughter play for and what division are they in.

DIY’S and housecleaners use bleach all the time to clean their tile and grout with little success.. As you know once bleach touches carpet, rugs or furniture etc it has a harsh reation. Also I have seen the grout texture deteriorate when cleaned with any mixture of bleach.

bleach can remove stains in grout but isn’t recomended. I’ve have seen
sanded grout become brittle and the grout becomes more course. You can try a stripper on low side of ph scale- acid but be careful. The acids cleaners will remove the top layer of the grout, also its very important to seal grout after acid cleaner is used.

I cleaned carpets for a former capet tech of Oxyclean. He told me they don’t pre-vacuum or groom the carpets. Their machine compares and looks like the units sold at Target or Wal-mart . Their process consist of the oxy chemical being applied to the carpet then the two small brushes work the chemical into the carpet while the small vacuum in the unit tries to extract the dirt and soil. A Oxyclean operator started just over a year ago in my area will little sucess. I haven’t seen his PU truck in over 7 Months.
    I hope this helps

Can anyone tell me the difference of Solvent based or water based grout
treater customer ask me this question . Also once the grout has been cleaned and sealed, how long will it protect the tile and grout surface ? How to advise the customer to clean their floors once we finish the job ?

    Thanks Rick

Oxymagic Uses a small portable vacuum like machine that has two small rotating brushes, that extracts. It looks like a machine you would buy at Target or Wal-Mart. They also don’t pre-vacuum or groom the carpet. Their equipment fits in the back of a car trunk.

I have been cleaning ,sealing and restoration of tile, grout & Natural stone for two years. I thought I could be some help with the Satillion tile but it seems you have it handled with all your research. I did contact John at corp to see if he advises sealing ceramic tile he agrees with me seal only the grout and wipe off the excess sealer from the ceramic tile.

    Good luck with T&G

Mike, Does your price of .70 cents a sq ft include a sealer ? We charge
.75 cents to clean Only. Sealer is an additional charge of.25 to .50 a sq foot.

The turbo wand is a great tool but you need a high psi extractor for it to work.
