I’m willing to be a guinea pig. Seems like the major complaints with the current microfiber is that an operator has a difficult time determining how much soil a pad is getting up and also when the pad has reached it’s expiration date using only visual cues (whether pertaining to soil retention in the pad during cleaning or just the shelf life of the pad itself). If these pads are any good, that problem could be alleviated.
I think this is an idea worth trying. Also, I find that the 17″ micros shrink a bit. If you don’t have them on the drive plate just right, damage to the carpet could happen. I would like to see our micro fiber offerings go to 19″ pads like our BBC pads. Any thoughts?
I agree with the 19″ over the 17″. Gives you a little “buffer” area to prevent plate from accidentally hitting the wall/furniture/etc (especially with employees).
