IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE THAT REPLACES THERE VAN EVERY THREE OR FOUR YEARS JUST BECAUSE YOU WANT TO AND CAN.
October 23, 2008 at 9:47 pm #152879AnonymousInactiveHere is my two cents on this subject, a clean well kept van is very important to maintain your image as a professional. It does not matter how old your van is but is does matter on how you project yourself to others.
We clean for a living so our customers expect us to be clean! As Andre Agassi says in the Cannon commercials IMAGE is everything!

So far so good..October 27, 2008 at 6:19 pm #152881AnonymousInactiveSometimes I want to. Rarely can I do it. I run mine as long as they look great and can still give me dependable miles. According to Dave Ramsey, a new vehicle loses 60%of its value in the 1st 4 years. He says that’s about like throwing $100 a week out the window!

October 28, 2008 at 11:51 pm #152883Bwaite77ParticipantI googled used vans and came up with dozens of 1 year old vans.
A Sprinter is $45,000 new.
A 1 year old one is 28,0000.A New used one is a great way to go, and you still get the tax deductions.
September 13, 2009 at 9:16 pm #152884AnonymousInactiveAnyone here using a Sprinter Van?, Did you get the logo put on the van?.
September 14, 2009 at 12:42 am #152885AnonymousInactiveBelieve dirtbag has at least one and if you go to the DC guys website, they have pics of their sprinters.
September 14, 2009 at 11:14 pm #152886AnonymousInactiveYup. Have a Sprinter since 2006. It’s a short, short. Short wheel base, short height. Lots of space inside, 5′ floor to ceiling. Cheap to drive, goes about 650miles on ~23gal of fuel. Oil changes are $150 every 10,000 miles. It’s been great except it purchase price. It does stand out and get noticed. I get a lot of comments to that. Probably would now buy a Ford Transit now though.
I would think each owner should be consulting with an accountant re the benefits of CCA and Depreciation. Some times depending on your situation it makes more sense financially to drive a new van every 4 or 5 years. Sell off the old one and pocket the money.September 15, 2009 at 12:00 am #152887Bwaite77ParticipantHey Denis,
Your only 4’9″, right?September 15, 2009 at 11:30 pm #152888AnonymousInactiveman i have never had the best of luck with ford van. went to chevy2500 3 years ago,but the new ford cargo looks sweet. anyone have one..if so please let me known.
September 15, 2009 at 11:31 pm #152889AnonymousInactivethat is the transit thanks.
September 15, 2009 at 11:51 pm #152890Bwaite77ParticipantIsn’t the Transit smaller than a minivan?
Or do they build larger?September 16, 2009 at 12:08 am #152891AnonymousInactiveI think the Transit is a full size cargo van. Transit Connect is smaller Astro size van. Don’t think full size Transit is available in US. Not positive about that though as the Ford website doesn’t list much on these vehicles that I could find. Here are the best sites I could find on the vehicles info.
