InactiveI know this topic has been addressed before, but a while ago. I need suggestions as to what is being charged for church pews? These pews have both seats and back are upholstered and about 960 linear feet.

ParticipantLast summer I was able to get an annual bid on church pews with seat & back @ $1.50 per linear ft w/protector applied. (If my memory serves me correct! ha) I know they want me to do it again in July – a big job! These pews also have a very simple upholstery – no buttons, etc.

ParticipantChurches make for good income, especailly with the name Heaven’s Best. We usually charge anywhere from $40 to $100 per pew, depending on size of course, it could be more. Then we surprise them and make a tithe in our company name or a simple donation to their church, regardless of religious beliefs. Hope all is well.
God Bless and Merry X-mas,

InactiveI’ve cleaned church pews only once. I looked back in my records to find that I charged $498 for 540 linear feet w/ back.(don’t know why I used an odd figure) If memory serves, this wasn’t enough. I think Jeff’s price should be reasonable and fair.

InactiveThe last pews I cleaned was for $.75 per linear foot for the seat only. There was not a back on these pews. I did them while we were cleaning the carpet thus the return on time spent was very good. Whole job took 4 hrs and paid nearly $700. I also gave a discount to the church. The pastor to the, the trustees and the janitor all were very pleased. I will be returning to clean again.

InactiveThanks to all. I used the $1.25 per linear foot for seat and back. The total bill was for around $1,400. It was for my own church so we donated the work. Your information helped for future jobs and tax purposes. Thanks again.
