Hi eveyrone. I was just talking with Blair Thueson today about some problems he’s been having with the current scheduling software. I want to know what problems every one is having with it, that way if I have enough people with the same problem, we’ll be able to get it taken care of hopefully a little quicker! 😀
Here’s some problems he’s been having. When he goes in to schedule a job, and puts in what all he’s done or is going to do, once you populate one field and hit enter, it should move that field down one line and give you a new field to populate. With Blair he’s having to hit enter and click inside the field to get it to move. That ‘s one problem.
The other problem he told me about it is he went to restore a backup he did, so he could get an old invoice for a particular customer from this year, and the invoice was nowhere to be found!
There’s a couple of problems he’s having, let me know if you’re having the same problems, if so, have you been able to get them fixed, and if yes, then how. If not let me know what problems you are having and I’ll see what we can do about getting fixes for them.

It is not something that I do, the program does it. It is very annoying because the number is like .009687565654 and adds a penny onto the total invoice. I usually have to go in and subtract a penny.

Continue to let me know about problems you are facing. I’ve talked w/ the creater of the program and he’s done an update on it, I would encourage every one to go and get this update, and hopefully it will solve problems you are having.
If you try to download it, and it does not appear to be downloading I know a way around the download w/i the scheduler, that will allow us to get the download installed. 😉 😈 *evil laugh* Nothin but pure genious here! hahahaha!!!! j/k
November 30, 2006 at 3:05 am #148187Larry youngParticipanton the tax issue go into file (top left side) click the setup tab, then click Invoice tab. scrowl down list make sure the ones that are checked are indeed taxable Items thengo to phone prefix make sure the correct tax rate is set up in the default state tax feild then scroll down and verify the tax rates are correct by city. hope this helps,

I have a problem with trying to bring up an old invoice, even if I just entered it a few minutes earlier. Doesn’t happen to all the invoices just an occasional one here and there. I can print the invoice but it will not bring it up on the screen.
The program also enters extra blank lines when I enter a line item on hte invoice. They are scattered all through the invoice and I have to delete each one to make it look professional if I have to mail the invoice.
I have talked to Douglas, the programmer with limited success, I seem to communicate the issue for him to understand.

Install the latest update and see what that does for you, Blair Thuesson was having similar problems. As far as the invoice, Blai is once again having the similar problem, I’m in the process of getting blair to e-mail Doug a copy of one of his backups so he can try and figure out what’s up w/ that.

December 8, 2006 at 1:59 am #148191HBPuyallupParticipantWhen you do the monthly reports which number do you use? which is the correct one. When you make a payment that is a month later does that go in the current month of the month that the job was done. Talking about the financial reports.
December 8, 2006 at 3:25 am #148192FL18ParticipantI know you’re not asking me but the answer is yes. That was the month you made the sell. So you may pay the taxes on it, if filing quarterly, even if it hasn’t been paid to you. I know that can be a pain, but it end’s up on your quarterly taxes one way or the other. Hope that helped at all.

That’s kinda what I set this up for, not only so you can tell me, but just let everyone know what problems your’e having so that any of us could answer it for you, after all we are all here to learn, yes even me! 😉

December 11, 2006 at 6:05 am #148195George LandkamerParticipantThe only thing I’d change about the program is that it changes the order I input the rooms in to the invoice. It will rearrange them in alphabetical order, when I want them in the order I input them. Was there a way to fix this?

Once your on the invoice screen, where you input the rooms and what not, it you look at the top where it tells you what field you’re in, you can click on that field heading, it will change the way it’s organized. i.e. if you go and click on the are/item header, you will change how that field is arranged.
