Just thought I would start this one off. I have been sending out coupons for discounts on all our services and sending free rooms of cleaning for those who have referred us to several people. I don’t have the funds at this time to do all the movie tickets, gift baskets, and whatever else some of you do. That is what I am posting this for anyways. What are you guys doing as gifts to clients, commercial and residential? My plan in the not so distant future is to get good season tickets to sporting events for some of these business owners I work for. We have several pro teams down here, no major ones though. We have minor league hockey-The Killer Bees, Arena football 2–The Dorados, 2 minor league baseball teams–Whitewings and Coyotes, and 2 D-league basketball teams–Vipers and Silverados. My wife has several ideas for the lady business owners and residential clients. Anyway, tell us what your plans are.

    PS

My wife wants to make cookies for some of our female clientel. My wife makes these chocalte crinkles every year for x-mas and it’s almost like legal crack or someting. I usually eat them as she is making them. She gets a little mad at me. Anyway, just wanted to add that note.

    Mike,
In past years I took our 32oz spotters with bright red and green ribbons (prettty) to all my property managers. For residentual customers I just gave them something like a room of protector free or a spotter bottle (large or small depending on the situation).

Last year instead, I gave out the HB mugs filled with HB pens and HB mints. I just wished I could be there when a competitor was doing a sales pitch and finally noticed all the desk had a Heaven’s Best mug on them!

It was fun and felt good to deliver them.

Good info Gordon. I like the mugs, but haven’t ordered them yet.

I have given out the small spotters along with some holiday chocolates all in a red or green cellophane bag. Very festive and the customer always apprciates it. Larger accounts have gotten large spotters and cups in the past. Will probably do the small spotters this year.

Given the economy, the spotters sound like the way to go this year.
It’s one less thing the consumer has to buy.

I gave out the ceramic coffee mugs last year to my Realtors.
The ones that drink coffee tend to use them.
    The others took them home.

** On a side note: I have sinced order the stainless steel mugs, and really liked them. One of them ended up replacing my everyday mug for coffee.

The monthly special, Lg spotter, came in at a great time with the holiday give-a-ways.

i’ve been following the posts and wanted to offer something to everyone. this may work as a new customer added bonus incentive or a referral gift to customers. it’s a great gift and very inexpensive and only offered to businesses. this is not something an average consumer can buy. the minimum purchase order is 10 per order @ $3 per gift.

i’m incorporating this into my referral campaign and offering a 3 day 2 night vacation package. i’m offering these in an added bonus incentive for new customers along with customers that refer at least 3 jobs. again, it’s inexpensive ($3) for a 3 day 2 night package.

if you’re interested in incorportating this into your business please email me at heavens.best@comcast.net i can get you in touch with the company that offers these packages.

    happy holidays!
