First, quick intro. I’m Tim the new graphic designer here at corporate.
I’d just like to get a feel for where everyone is at in regards to their websites.
How many would be interested in a package solution through corporate?
We are hoping to offer a consistent look and feel to each website and keep costs down.
For those of you who have a working website, post it here so we can get a look at it.
Also, feel free to give me a buzz for your design needs.

I can have this done locally by very reputal business’s and in return have the potential of getting business from those same business’s. The last time I checked Cody already had a carpet cleaner… (plus I think the milage fee would be a bit too high for me to drive there)

The mileage is what ALWAYS gets you.

The use of a computer to look me up is scarce. But I do think it is a necessity to have something available for people to find locally, not just the corporate web site. I have had 2 requests for estimates from corporate. I feel I would get more if I include my own web site on the van and other adverts. I have no idea what the cost is on any of this stuff.

Welcome to the design team. I already appreciate your help and support from the corporate office!I believe it’s crucial in my territory, Atlanta, GA to have a website. This helps with advertising and also gives credibility to shoppers in a very competitive business. I’m tweaking my website daily to make it more personal with videos, customer feedback letters, along with automated voice conversations with my customers. This website was created with Yahoo Site Builder and in February I have three advertising pieces going out from the web with City Search, Super Pages and Google. All three of these click and pay campaigns require a website so that potential customers can see my business before they call me. Feel free to look at what I have so far! http://www.atlantacarpetcleaning.biz
I’m modeling my website directly from Jim Dickey and Barry Lowenthal in Virginia, Maryland and D.C. Jim has helped me a lot with site builder and posting my website! I’m very thankful for generous support from other operators! It is truly a blessing to have great people associated with this franchise! Their website is http://www.heavensbest.biz
I hope this helps!
January 18, 2008 at 8:37 pm #151228IA43MemberI thought a website would work really well for me but it hasn’t so far. My brother-in-law owns one of the franchises in Maryland and he does a lot of business through it. Here is the one that I designed: http://www.heavensbestin.com
January 27, 2008 at 6:51 pm #151229Bret WootonParticipantI’ve been pushing for a good website to drive cleaning business for a long time now. It doesn’t make sense to me that individual operators have to build their own websites because the corporate website doesn’t do enough to drive carpet cleaning business.
I am in the process of developing a website that will be available for all operators to use that won’t be territory specific. It will simply have good information about carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, wood floors and tile and grout. There will be a big button that will link to the find an operator page on the heavensbest website. The site will be specifically designed to drive retail business and nothing else. The domiain is http://www.yourheavensbest.com. Currently it just has an low res coupon ad on it, but the new version should be up by March. Feel free to use it.
