Hey everybody – I recently added a chatbot to my website to generate leads. It’s working great and bringing in new customers every week! I put together a video to show you how it works. I can’t embed a video on this forum, so you’ll have to head over to YouTube to check it out:
Here’s a brief rundown…
- The chatbot acts like a live chat agent
It collects customer information
We email the customer with a quote
The customer books with us when they are ready (usually about a week later)You might be wondering: “if I already have lead forms on my website, why do I need a chatbot to capture leads?” Because it brings in people who are higher up in the funnel, still in the research phase, and gets you in contact with them very early in their decision process. The chatbot gives people a reason to share their information with you rather than abandoning your site. That gives you a big opportunity to make a great first impression.

We added a couple of options to not only our adwords account the call and text message extension, but we also added the feature click to call and click to text directly onto our website. We dropped our land line and strictly use a cell phone that has relay phone numbers. It’s only been about 2 months for the “click to call” add on and we have seen a considerable increase in calls converting into jobs, which is great for this time of year. We haven’t been tracking it the way we should, but what seems to be a hit is the “click to text” option. Both on adwords extension and our website, this we have started tracking, it’s been about 3 weeks and we actually received about 6 text messages all but 1 converting to a job. We’ll see how both really work with this upcoming cleaning season. I think that using your chat bot feature would possibly put us over the top, so again thank you and we’ll be in touch.
