I am participating in two seperate vendor fairs at local schools next week. I would welcome any ideas to help make my table stand out.
Here is what I have planned so far. I ordered the four foot vinyl baner corporate sells to drape over the front of my table. I’ll run a drawing for 3 free rooms of carpet cleaned. I will have available for sale spotter (large and small bottles) and carpet rakes. I also plan on having a game of “discount dice” set up on the table. Customers who book an appointment at the fair will get to roll the “discount dice” to see how much of a discount they will receive. Roll a 1 or 2 get 5% off, roll a 3 or 4 get 10% off, roll a 5 or 6 get 15% off your bill.
I’ll have a door prize (basket with some spotter, a HB bag, and a HB T-shirt). I also plan on having my laptop with me so I can loop some of our commercials, I’ll have poster boards with before and after pictures, tissues with fabric protector to demo, and a poster board with positive comments from customers, a few new pads, and my UM on display.
What else will help me stand out and make a good positive impression??
Thanks,

Make sure there are a couple different types so they have to stop and think about what they want. You’ll get a lot of people that will stop by just for the candy, but you will also get to talk to a lot of people that would normally keep on walking.
Good luck!

Coffee mugs, spotter bottles, the carpet cleaning and fabric protector brouchures in a plastic stand so they stand up. Business cards (regular and magnetc) I also have the banner for the table and if there is space I get the larger banner from my State owner to hang behind the booth.
I make sure I have candy as well but only use “soft” candy so the kids won’t choke.
