This is an old thread, but I’m seriously thinking about using a ramp. Anyone else use ramps on a daily basis. What kind? Ammon, you still have the one you mentioned?

    Ed,
Prior to HB: I used to pull my back muscles quite a bit. And I wasn’t exercising like the Dr. told me.
After a few months of working the vac, and rake; I haven’t had any trouble.
In the last 7 of my 8 years in this, I have pulled those muscles maybe 5 times.
    Good Luck

I used to have back problems, but have since realized the older we get, the more we have to realize our limitations. Early in the morning, until I get warmed up, I need to be very careful. Always double think your actions, and don’t make any sudden moves. And oh yes, Ibuprofen is my friend!!

Harbor Freight Tools has this one for $130.00, with a 1200 lb capacity. I own this one and have found it to be a superb ramp.
