Having been diagnosed some months ago with Parkinson’s, and more recently having bouts of chronic PTSD, it has become apparent to me that having 2 vans is not too efficient. So I am going to part with my van….reluctantly, but part we must.
Going to be for sale is a 2003 Econoline E-150 Ford Van. We have the title to the van…clear of any debt. A little less on the amenities (less to break) no power anything except the engine works nice. Strong runner at 101,000 miles. I would not hesitate to drive anywhere. All logos and wrappings are installed and intact. ALl to be done there is to remove our phone number and overlay with yours. CHEAP!
I know some may think that it is too big or too small for the Sprinter folks…at 6’2″ I have never had a problem with the height issue or loading it at all. It holds everything and then some.
Exterior…I had a little bumper issue a couple of months ago and the center of the front bumper is dented inward, and there is a rust spot on the rocker panel where the two doors meet….I believe someone hit it in the parking lot and left….and finally got some surface rust. I am inclined to get it repaired before selling….right is right.
Interior, we have American Van type shelving on the one side and a cage door in a wire partition behind the back of the front seats. Also have a small locker behind the drivers seat and a writing table between the two front seats for writing, laptop and book storage. Total expense of approximately $1,000-$1,100…well worth each and every dollar.
Once I get it all detailed inside and out, I will take photos.
I am thinking just under $8,500 seems a fair price. I could/would even deliver to most anywhere in the continental US. Or Canada if it can be sold and taken north….it runs well in the cold and snow and heats up well if required…got a couple of tricks there.
So, there it is…if anyone has any interest at all in this van….please let me know and we can discuss and dicker and whatever…you come here top ick up in sunny Lancaster County, PA or I can drive it to you.
Thanks for reading.

Happy New Year!!!!

Thanks for your thought…all were fine and no injury. We are getting more than we had hoped from the insurance company…..big blessing. No more van driving for JoAnn…..

January 15, 2011 at 3:49 am #154437pachecoParticipantWell, if my wife was “help”, I would totally agree. She owns the franchise and has from the beginning.
But, you are right…
