I had a customer that has a light tan/brown carpet of the fairly standard variety. Her daughter used some tanning spray and the residue it left turned the carpet light pink in several areas. The FAE did help me lighten it considerably, but it is still very much there. I assume that it had some type of ‘dye’ or pigment in it that stained the carpet as it does to skin. I could be wrong. I was wondering if anyone has come across this and what did they do. Thank you.

Most companies have a number you could call to determine how to handle certain accidents with their product. Like swallowing or getting into eyes…I would suggest you call the manufacturer and solicit their help…they might have a remedy or possibly the cure for you.

My personal rule of thumb goes something like this: if what I do or did helps lighten it…then we are going in the right direction. Maybe further applications of the enzyme may help even more…possible use of the extractor might help…

Call John or Cody and let them know what you are doing and they are almost always able to assist….

    Hope this helps a little…

Thanks Dave. I’m going to give John or Cody a call on Monday. I’m sure they’ve either run across the problem themselves or know of someone who has.
