Found this on YouTube would love to hear comments, concerns, ideas, or anything else you have to say about this machine…curiousity I guess as to what you guys with a few more grey hairs think about it.
April 16, 2008 at 6:20 am #151947AnonymousInactiveI see a few things wrong with this thing. First, most guys I’m sure do much more residentail than commercial (where this would mean anything). Second, you’ll need a ramp off your truck. The tight spaces in homes makes this thing no good. How are you going to get it upstairs?
April 16, 2008 at 2:03 pm #151948Dan ChildParticipantI agree with your points ron, I’m sure this machine wouldn’t perform in any residential applications. However, movie theaters, hotels (halls & conference rooms), and other commercial applications could have a use for it. Only if the machine held up the standards and performed the same quality as the nobles buffer that is. I have done a few large hotels and let me tell you, this thing would really help for those jobs if it performs like they claim. What I’ve found is most hotels, movie theaters, and other places have price as the #1 determining factor, this could be a way to land any job you could imagine regardless of the price they are willing to pay. If this thing were all it’s cracked up to be, you could have a 45,000 sq. ft. facility buffed in roughly 2 hrs, plus factor in vacuuming etc. Charging $.05 a ft., the total would be $2,250.
Another concern now is if it looks to good to be true, is it? I’m thinking “too good to be true” but thought I would show it to everyone.
But if the price was right, I’d get it in the van one way or another.
April 16, 2008 at 3:32 pm #151949hbottumwaParticipantIt appears, like speed is the factor. instead of quality time needed to do the job right. I’m more interested in a quality clean. I’m not interested in being a “cheap, take the dust off the top cleaner”.
To me the only benefits are, the two buffer system and large open space cleaning.
The downside as stated earlier, one more piece of equipment to buy & maintain, van ramp, van storage space, up & down stairs issue, and remove from van daily for re-charging of batteries etc.I’d love to hear more pro’s than con’s, but I’m simply not seeing them.

The old operator sold his HB franchise and did not sell it with the franchise. Think one of his family members (HB operator in NE) may have it. It is expensive at roughly $10K. He had an enclosed trailer for it that he pulled behind truck. Definitely only for commercial applications. Since it is powered, it forced you to go at a certain pace, which is good and bad. If you did a ton of commercial jobs, especially really large jobs, it may be something worth investing in. Otherwise, I recommend passing.

April 18, 2008 at 3:48 pm #151952GA18ParticipantInteresting to watch how fast they move (push) this machine. Makes me wonder how “clean” carpets get. The pads did not look too dirty for the area cleaned. Does not seem practical for regular “day to day” use.
April 20, 2008 at 11:48 am #151953pachecoParticipantIt seems to me that the more complicated things (equipment) gets, the more to break or cause problems.
April 21, 2008 at 12:29 pm #151954Dan ChildParticipantAfter reading some of your replies I went to their website and found the following…
Two rotating 15″ heads feature 17″ floor pads and can clean a 33″ wide path. Capable of operating at variable speeds depending on the level of soiling, the cordless Twin Bonnet 33 provides true wall-to-wall cleaning without causing the operator to stop and hunt for a power cord. Additionally, this machine fits through a standard 30″ doorway.
