Had a manufacturer of a stress ball call us and want us to try and clean a spill/explosion of one of their stress balls in a customer’s home. The customer had his cleaner come over and try and get it out. The customer said his cleaner is not “green” and tried numerous ways to get it out (including an iron, which I assume was a dye treatment). Obviously, the stain may be set in now. The company wants a second opinion before they pay to replace the carpet.
Anybody ever ran into such a stain, and if so, were you able to get it out? Plan on trying the usual suspects (solvents, dye treatment, etc.), but figured it’s always nice to go in with any added info if possible, especially if it shortens my time on the job. Job isn’t till Thursday. Thanks.
