I have 2 comments concerning the spraymaster trigger top replacement heads for our professional spotter bottles (item #435 in HB Catalogue). First, the catalogue picture of the replacement sprayer head is not the actual head that gets shipped to us anymore. Second, is it still possible to get the head that is pictured? The head that is sent now is junk (in my opinion). It doesn’t last long at all in my experience with it. If we can’t get the pictured head through HB, does anyone know where that particular head can be purchased anymore? I have yet to find a sprayer head that comes close to working as well as that one.
I agree. I can’t stand the new triggers but I keep ordering hoping one will work.
I called Spraymaster (Delta Industries makes them) a while back and the supplier that made the original ones (ones from 5+ yrs ago that rocked) is no longer in business. They have gone thru a couple suppliers and believe they have one now that is close to the original design (dark blue trigger). I have still had a couple of these new ones fail on me, but they are definitely better than the ones with the light blue triggers that didn’t seem to last more than a month if you were lucky. The sprayers do have a 5 yr warranty, so you are supposed to be able to exchange them if they die on you. In the past, I have just called them and they have given me an RA# (return authorization#) and I have mailed them about 10-15 dead ones and they would send me new ones. I called them this morning (thanks for the reminder) for another round of this and they said to go back to the store where I bought them now and they should exchange them. So, corporate, any chance we can send these back to you in exchange for new ones?????
