Just wanted to let Ron know that your ad was fabulous. Very sharp and attractive. Let’s have some other operators show off thier ads. Put your ad up so we can all see and discuss and get good ideas from one another. Tells us which ads work better, which ones don’t. I would put one of mine but am having trouble with computer at this moment.

Just out of curiosity Ron, do you feel comfortable sharing how much that is going to cost per month? And what percentage of your estimated advertising budget for the coming year? My years in the business world have hardened my attitudes towards yellow pages somewhat – mostly I think they have become a really big rip-off. I realize they are necessary, but wow – how much return is truly earned from that one ad?

I was fortunate to be one of the first customers of a new SBC phone book in my area. I will get a full page ad under carpet cleaning and the back cover. The ads will cost me about $250 a month.

Right now I am not concerned with this. My budget for advertising is very high. I’m more concerned with building my client base instead of how much money I am making.
Seems reasonable to me. We’ll see how the ROI goes with it.
