Greetings friends in grime. It’s been a while since I last visited with you. I have missed you and will work diligently on providing you with “refuelings” several times a month.

“Thanksgiving” is a few days away. As we all get busy with cleaning carpets, paying bills, and dealing with the little conflicts in life, we tend to forget to be thankful for what we have. Often times than not, we dwell on what we DON’T have, which keeps us in a downward spiral. So my friends, here are a few perspectives to help us all remember to be thankful ~

Today I can feel sad that I don’t have more money or I can
be glad that my finances encourage me to plan my purchases wisely
and guide me away from waste.

Today I can grumble about my health
or I can rejoice that I am alive.

Today I can lament over all that my parents didn’t give me
    when I was growing up
or I can feel grateful that they allowed me to be born.

Today I can cry because roses have thorns
or I can celebrate that thorns have roses.

Today I can whine because I have to go to work
or I can shout for joy because I have a job to do.

Today stretches ahead of us, waiting to be shaped.
And here we are, the sculptor who gets to do the shaping.

We can have a great day today, unless we make other plans…

May you all have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Until the next time we visit, I wish you well.

Up in Canada, we do Thanksgiving in October. That way you get enough of a break to work thru all the turkey leftovers before Christmas turkey leftovers come along. Us Canadians, always thinking.

    Kathlynn,
I really appreciate the words of insight and wisdom. Thank you for taking the time to teach all of us how we can be better business people and better human beings.
