Has anyone succesfully replaced the red coil sprayer hose with a much longer one? I’d like to be able to leave it outside the room and spray without holding it. Who sells the red coil hoses? Ace? Depot?

Hey Ron, I have replaced my red coil hose with a 30 ft clear hose. It looks like like the hose that hooks to an oxygen machine. This has worked out great.

I have the nylon reinforced hose, It will take higher temps. than others.
I also put quick connects on all my hoses in order to make them longer or shorter. The Upholstery Mate solution hose is 15 ft and my power sprayer is 25 ft. In some cases I leave the sprayer on the porch. you can pick up the hose at any of the larger hardware stores. One thing to remember is unless you have the criming tool you will have to use hose clamps, and the kinda suck. I can remember at one time corporate would make them for you ….any length..?

How do you manage the storage of the hose in your truck? I like how the standard red coil hose is easily manageable in my truck. Do you have any issues with a 30 foot hose?

    Ron,
I have a hand truck that I got at home depot for $19 bolted the sprater to it . The hose is only 3/8 of an inch in Dia. I coil it up and bungie it to the cart …..it works great..my next goal is to make one one with a retractable hose reel…I will sell them for $200….less sprayer
