Dan,
We (almost) always treat pets spots with the heaven’s best enzyme, extract it, and then clean the room with normal process (if customer wants the whole room cleaned as well). If the spot(s) take more than 10-15 mins to clean, we are charging extra. We usually start at $20 additional and go up from there depending on how many spots there are. That said, we usually show the treatment discounted in some capacity (i.e. $20 charge on invoice, but in notes says Regularly $40, good customer discount). Time is money, so if it is taking extra time, better be getting extra money. We don’t have a set formula per spot, rather just guestimate how much extra time/solution is involved. Also, as we all know, no 2 pets spots are alike (1 yip yap dog pee spot vs golden retriever dog pee spot, #1 spot vs #2 spot, etc). Charging for the treatment also helps cover some cost of a return visit that may be required due to wicking if all the moisture wasn’t removed during the initial treatment.
