Has anyone had success completely removing the odor (completely breaking down the uric acid salts) from cat urine?

    Dan,

I have limited success. I now bake into my bids extra for another trip out, as I usually have to do two trips for cat urine. I manage expectations with clients by letting them know that cat urine is far more concentrated than dog and that while I will improve it, I can not guarantee that I can remove it. I also let them know that I will make another trip out, if required, after a few days, hence my incresed bid. If you come across something that works, please let me know. Good luck.

Another problem with cat urine is that it sometimes ends up on walls and baseboards. It may be mostly out of the carpet but I can’t do anything when it’s down the wall and into baseboards.

with return trips for odors, i have just started telling coustomers that we start at the bottom of our cleaning method (usually a regular clean) then if the odor returns we will waive our minimum fee, and just charge time/materials for the return visit, that way the customer isn’t out anything more then they would be spending anyway, and were not dumping extra product on problems that were fixed with a regular cleaning.

Yes we have but we may have to do a follow up.
