Hey Everyone,
I’m looking to find out ideas and share ideas for tossing perks to large accounts. Yeah, we could offer them a free room here and there but what about the ones who bring you back time and time again for $1000’s of dollars?
Share your ideas please.
Also, I’ll share one of my own ideas and tell me what you think. I posted an ad that I would be willing to trade Carpet Cleaning for Carolina Panthers tickets, within 2 hours I booked an appointment to clean a rug, one room, and a sofa, for 2 club level seats for the pre-season game next friday. I will probably start trying to get tickets for each game this way and be tossing them to my large clients, or if they are men and it would be appropriate, take them with me to get to know them better and help make them loyal customers. Of course doing a good job is always a good way to retain business, but becoming friends with the right people is also good thing too.
What are your thoughts?

If a Husband is home then I’ll give it to him to give to the wife. Works very well for me!

His averge house is about 160.00 each time.

I think perks you give big accounts vary between commercial and residential. For my big residential accounts, these accounts are the one’s that have the money to spend so don’t feel like you have to give them something just because their tickets are big. We send anyone that spends more than $125 a gift certificate for a pay per view movie and a bag of microwave popcorn so they can stay at home and enjoy their fresh clean carpet. We have thought about changing it up for those customers that regularly spend $500+ per visit, but haven’t come up with anything yet that wows us without busting the bank. For commercial accounts, I think bringing gifts is best. For our largest commercial account, we clean it quarterly (takes 2 days) and bring them Krispy Kreme donuts on the 2nd day each time. The employees go crazy over them and love us for it. They comment how they never eat donuts, but when we bring them they are just great. For Christmas, we bring a tin or two of cookies or something like that for the employees, and then get a nice gift basket for the manager. Have even done the dinner coupons for the manager in the past too, but I don’t think you want the gift to appear as a bribe so the more personal the better without busting the bank.
Trade outs are great! Work them any way you can.
