Curious when folks use Orange Deodorizer vs Citrus Booster. Strictly an “odor decision” or do soil conditions dictate which you use?

    Thanks.

I’m not an expert, but I use OD for the aroma and citrus booster for semi-dirty places. Then I use citrus booster and quick boost for really dirty places with FAE before-hand.

    Hi,

We use orange deodorizer and citrus booster all the time.

We mix a small amount (about 4 ounces) of citrus booster in our 2.5 gallon tank of cleaner, along with the 101. We also use pro spotter on a daily basis. Our pro spotter formula is 16 ounces of 101, 16 ounces of citrus booster, 8 ounces of orange deodorizer, and 1 scoop of quick boost to make 1 gallon of pro spotter.

We clean for 4 different apartment communities, so we see a lot of very dirty carpet. Since our pro spotter contains orange deodorizer, our customers receive the added benefit of deodorization. If the apartment’s carpet is relatively clean and we don’t need to use pro spotter, we very lightly mist the carpet with a weak solution (10:1) of orange deodorizer at no additional charge just prior to grooming. Property managers absolutely love the orange deodorizer, and often specifically request that we be sure to use it.
