Oil Leak in Savana

I bought a new GMC Savana through HB last April and it’s a nice van. Last week I noticed a very small spot on the garage floor. I was also scheduled for an oil change a day later. The techs told me they saw evidence of an internal oil leak. What? In my “new” van? I took it to the local GMC dealer and was told the oil pan was porous and leaking, needed to be replaced. Everything was still under warranty but thought it might be good info to pass along. If you see even a tiny spot of oil, have it checked out. Just curious if any one else has had this problem.
