New Tile Equipment

We just had our Florida seminar end of Feb. The new Tile equipment was demoed, very impressive. The state owner Ron Smith has made avalible for our use (1 year) to test. 2 weeks ago I bid a job in high end community 2600 sf of tile (18″) at .50psf & sealer at .25psf., estimate was $2000.00 I explaned to the customer of the amount of work involved arriving at the price, she would have to talk it over with her husband. Two days later he called back and asked to have the work done the following week.Needless to say I worked it into my scheduel. I picked up equip. from Ron. Tues. we did the cleaning (3 of us) cleaner, agitate grout with hand brush & tile brush attachment with buffer then extact with tile Equip. Weds. returned sealed and cleaned carpet in upstairs bonus rm. altogether $2200.00 for day & half of work, Nice ! The customer was thrilled, he said it had’nt looked that good since new. I’m not telling you that tile clening is easy, but big jobs like that can straighten out the sorest of backs. If your thinkin of getting into this line of work, this is the way to go, the new equipment and reformulated cleaner is far better than the old systems. P.
