November 22, 2006 at 4:40 am #147755FL18ParticipantNo problem Dave. I refuse to just drop it off and let them at it, you know. I will not say anything to make them mad or anything. I will just kind of, nicely, let them know what my expectations are.
God Bless,
Mike

Great point . My logos were delivered on Monday . SAR gave me a installer in NJ. after speaking to him at length I came to the conclusion he was not right for the job. He was rude and a know it all. After informing SAR and HB I spoke to a diffrent franchisee at length he was great he listened to me told me how to avoid these problems, and how to fix them if they happen. He assured me his moto in buisness and life is the same as mine”ACCEPT ONLY EXCELLENCE”. I cleared it with both SAR and HB corporate offices and we are having it done on 11/29. I realize I have many SAR franchisees to choose from in my area and this migth not be the case in some areas but like anything else communication is a must
I will let you how it went on 11/30

My guy said the exact same words.. Make sure that they have a garage to do the installation. The guy in Harrisburg and Lancaster do it outside and I think it is almost impossible to do it right…outside. A garage is needed and it will at least offer a better chance at a good installation.
Wish you the best.

Thanks for the info. I am having my van detailed on 11/28 they said alot of the lettering will come off because of the buffing a added bonus I guess it is costing me $70.00. He does have access to a garage.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving day
JoeNovember 23, 2006 at 1:49 pm #147759pachecoParticipantI was just informed yesterday that I am going to have to wait till spring to have the front fender signage replaced due to the cold weather…they will try to remove the 1″ across bubbles down the sides next week… Unbelievable!
November 27, 2006 at 3:20 pm #147760FL18ParticipantJoe,
That’s great bro. I’m just as excited as you are. I’m just waiting for the call to set up an install date. Hope your thanksgiving was great.
Dave,
I’m sorry to hear the troubles, I will pray for you and hope all comes out well. One positive thing to doing it outside, if it’s not raining or snowing or too cold, is that the final product will be seen outside. I think I want my guys to do it outside because, assuming there’s good sun light, they can see the final product as they apply the signs or wrap. Hope it works out for you. Hang in there.
God Bless you guys,
Mike

January 12, 2007 at 4:41 pm #147763NJ05ParticipantBUBBLES CRACKS AND BLISTERS need i say more??
January 18, 2007 at 4:38 am #147764FL18ParticipantGuys,
If you have any major issues with your logos, then you need to contact corporate. Need anyone say more. No offense guys, but I hope you are telling corporate about these things. My logos have a few bubbles and a couple that turned into what appears to be cracks but does not affect overall appearence of the logos. We can’t be too picky guys. I would love to see some pics of what you all are talking about. If not knowing how to post me or Jason can help you.
God Bless

Not to put too fine a point on the issue…but when I spend $2400 for logos for 2 vans, I have a right to be picky. When I have gaps and bubbles and they cannot be repaired until spring, I am fearful of cracking and destruction during our winter….not to mention the 2 different colors of the front of the vans, 1 orangish and the other red. They look terrible together and SAR is not very helpful or responsive…
It is very frustrating knowing that the vinyl will crack or break and mean another patch job on top of the other patch jobs we must live with.
As my mom used to say many moons ago..”son, this too shall pass.”
January 25, 2007 at 6:08 am #147766FL18ParticipantAs I mentioned above. Let corporate know these things. Nobody said you didn’t have the right to be picky. 1200 or 2400 is actually pretty cheap, trust me on that. I told our SAR guy about the “patch jobs” you guys talk about and claims that he won’t patch, he will do it again. I guess I lucked out. You guys stress over too much you can’t control. Hope it all works out for you.

Without counting all of the little patches on my van, I would guess there are at least 6-8 patches, where a little piece was cut to cover a rip or tear or split of some kind. From the gitgo it looks like the devil and the bubbles do not help. After paying $381 for decal removal of both vans and then $2400 for the vinyl and then back and forth with FL-ID..etc, I am ready to relax in LV…no gambling or driing or anything dumb like that.just learn and relax, clear the mind a little.
February 6, 2007 at 12:44 pm #147768AnonymousInactiveHad the new logo’s put on my van last week. The SAR in Concord NH did an outstanding job! As for air bubbles I could find only a few and they are small. They kept it for 3 day’s and even delivered it to my home, we live 2.5 hours north of Concord, at no extra charge. The weather has been COLD to say the least. I’ll see what happens as the weather warms.
