he broke his leg playing softball. he has been with me for over 2 years . i feel obligated to him to keep his job until he can come back to work but right now is hard to fill his spot with a temp. his wife is having a baby in feb. and he is out of a job right now . i am trying to help out where i can . he is worth the wait. any other ””””’hurt employee”””” stories
I broke my ankle and still helped my dad put up gutters over a summer. I actually still worked harder than some of the other employees. It sure was fun hopping up and down ladders (and probably wasn’t OSHEA approved).
Maybe he could drive the van while you navigate, make phone calls, do some paper work, etc during the travel time. Or the other way around.
well come to find out i was more loyal to my employee than he was to me . thru all of my waiting for him he was looking for a new job about the whole time . he probabaly would always have issues with is leg and not be able to do all of the work i needed him to do . long story short we parted on good terms . i can still use him on large commercial jobs in the future .in fact i hired an employee who had been with me four years ago . i have always felt i have been good to my employees . good luck to all !
