What are your thoughts on this? I’m considering putting it in my next yellow pages ad.
March 4, 2006 at 4:16 pm #145836AnonymousInactiveRon,
I put it in all my ads and will also be putting it in my yellow pages ad coming out this summer. I know there is a slight risk of someone taking advantage of it, however, I think the benefit of putting the minds of potential customers at ease outweighs the risk of someone saying they want their money back when you really did a good job.Good luck with your ad!
By the way, thanks for your help on the phone yesterday!

I recommend (my guarantee is your satisfaction). This gives you the opportunity to satisfy the client first before doing something for free. Thats my thoughts, good luck.

If you’re not happy, we’ll come back and clean it again, if you’re still not happy, we’ll refund the money. This lets them know that just saying “I’m not happy” does not get them off the hook right away in paying. Yes, you can get burned by this, but that is why it is crucial to inform the customer about potential problem areas during the initial walk-thru with them. Knock on wood, we have yet to have an issue with this. Remember, just because you showed up at the door doesn’t mean you have to clean their house if you feel something “fishy” is afoot.
That said, if you are leary about doing it, I would pick and choose which advertising you use it on. If you are sending something to high end homes, I would definitely do it to help with their peace of mind. If you are sending out coupons in a Val-pak or putting it on your yellow pages ad where price shoppers and potential scammers would be more prominent, maybe you hold off on saying it in print, but let them know over the phone somehow that you stand behind your work.
March 9, 2006 at 11:30 pm #145841AnonymousInactiveI PUT THAT ON MY VAN ,I WILL BACK IT UP.WALK THE TALK,.EVERYONE HAS THE SAME CAPABILITIES,I HOPE,THAT IS H.B.OPERATORS.EXTREME CONFIDENCE,NO ARROGANCE OR COCKINESS,JUST CONFIDENCE.BRING IT ALL ON!!
March 10, 2006 at 4:51 pm #145842FL18ParticipantIt depends on mentality of where you live. We always have people who want to negotiate price, and they ask about the guarantee and we tell them yes I guarantee that I will work as hard as I can. I never guarantee that a stain will be 100% gone becuase not all of them come out,
