I did get your phone call the other day and will call you this weekend. Probably some time Saturday afternoon. Thanks for your call.

I’m wanting to know if you call the commercial offices prior to sending the packets or do you walk in and talk to the decision maker and then leave the packet for their review? Can you quickly walk me through your procedure in effectively using your packets?Thank you,
December 16, 2007 at 4:14 am #150848FL18ParticipantWe usually “walk in” and ask for the owner or manager on duty or decision maker for maintenance of the hotel. 99% of the time, it has been the owner or manager, general manager. We tell them who we are, what we do, present the packet, point out recommendation letters and point out the free demo and special price on the first cleaning. Have confidence, don’t be nervous or they will pick up on that. Most will ask what we charge per room. Simply ask, “Can I see some of your rooms”. They will usually show you one room. Ask if they are all the same size, then you quickly find out that they have other rooms or suites that are typically double the size of a regular room. So you charge double the price. Simply give them a price range or tell them you will crunch some numbers and e-mail the qoute or drop it off. Don’t be in too much of a hurry on this, for it shows a sign of being desperate although you just want the job. Give yourself a good 3 or 4 days to think about it and come up with your pricing structure. Don’t ever sell yourself short. You will do better being thourough and thinking things through on what your worth. Hotels are easy to clean, for us anyway. Most have red-dye but don’t want to pay extra for the red dye removal. They just want them cleaned. It will most likely be high traffic only. We usually will pick up a few chairs and night stands. If they have good housekeepers, then the rooms will already be pre-vaccumed. I will call you in the morning around 9 am central time to discuss further. I got busy today with family and apoplogize for not calling today. I try to avoid business on the weekends sometimes, just to “get away”. Those veterans out there know what I mean. However, I have no problem with discussing this with you tomarrow morning. Hope all is well and will talk to you soon.

January 9, 2008 at 6:29 am #150850FL18ParticipantWhat is your population there in Central Virgina? I guess I should have asked; what cities do you have. 100,000 to a million or under 100,000. The packets are found under the heavens best ads web site.
Check out some previous replys to find out some more info about these. They are one first and second page of website last time I checked. At bottom of first page there will be numbers 1,2. Click on 2 if not found on 1 and you should find them. As mentioned before. Fully editable. For help with this packet or to edit it and make it to fit your area, let me know and I can walk you through it (I can e-mail instructions about it). I think those of you familiar with MS Word or if your are semi computer savvy then you have no problem with this. I think some folks don’t reply and ask questions because they are afraid of being embarrassed. Please don’t be guys. That is why we have this beautiful tool called the bulletin board. I have no problem with helping any of you. I won’t charge a dime. Just be patient. Some times, depending on how busy we are, I can reply fast or may take a while. Anyway, God Bless and get excited about 2008. I think it will be good for all of us.

March 3, 2008 at 3:45 pm #150853FL18ParticipantThank you for letting me know. I appreciate any ideas or other things I left out that can be added. Anyone can edit the packet to meet their needs or area.
Hey Carpet “R” Us,
Go to ad site at http://www.heavensbestads.com
Click on targeted ads. You can’t miss it. There are some new cover sheets added by corporate that look great. As mentioned before. Add, take away, re-word or whatever you need to do to make packet fit your needs. It is a word doc. so it is easy to edit. I did put the packet into correct font for all. From what I understand though, you have to have the font downloaded from our site or it will come to you as times new roman font. I may be wrong but it could be a possiblity. If this happens, then let me know on this posting so I can post instructions on how to download fonts.
Thanks to all and good to be back on here,
Mike Nowlin
