Is it alright to use carpet protector on the new microfiber type of upholstery? Just want to make sure there aren’t any compatability issues with this.

    Thanks

See no reason why you couldn’t. Pretty sure we have. I think the only time you would want to use caution with protector on furniture is if you are using the teflon protectant on a furniture that has cotton in it. If this was the case, you would want to make sure and dry the furniture quickly as the teflon protectant requires the addition of water and as we all know excess water can increase the likelihood of shrinkage or water marking on natural fibers.

I’ve sealed Micro fiber after cleaning using solvent based H.B. Fab protector and had no problems. Use your horse hair brush to smooth the fiber, and allow some time for normal drying, maybe 30 minutes if your schedule permits, prior to applying. Hope this helps.
