About 3 months ago I received a call from someone who lived on a houseboat and wanted me to do the carpets, they said that they had Sears come out but it was a major hassle because of the hoses for the truck mount and trying to reach the boat so I explained to them that it would not be an issue with our method and went ahead and scheduled the job. On the way out I noticed a message board that shows all the boats for sale within the Marina so I asked the boat owner if it would be okay for me to put some business cards in it and he said fine. Well over the last 3 months I have done at least 5 boats in the same Marina and now I plan to spend a few hours next week and hit all the local Marina’s and do the same thing. If you have any in your area I suggest you drop some cards off.

Any bulletin board that has cards on it gets one of mine added. Cheapest form of advertising. Glad that is working out for ya.

Alot of retired people practicly live in there motorhomes and they can never find anyone to clean them. I was just cleaning in one of our RV parks and i ended up cleaning 2 more in the same park on the same day just by the other owners looking at my van.

P.S. If you think the uph mate or ninja is a hassle to handle, think of those truck mounts trying to run hose outside of an apartment building to the third, forth, or more floor…
As far as how far they can go is determined by how much hose they have. However after 200 ft of hose they leave A LOT of water, dirt, and everything else behind. At least my truck mount HWE did.March 9, 2010 at 9:17 pm #154126AnonymousInactiveThe length of hose a truckmount can use really depends on the size of the blower and the diameter of hose used, some of the smaller ones have a hard time going 150 feet but some of the big boys like the Vortex can handle 600 feet and still suck your shirt off if it gets to close to you.
