It has been a while since we had to change to the new logos, just wondering how yours are holding up ? My logos have begun to bubble and peel. It is’nt that big a deal to me… just wondering if you are having that happen?
May 3, 2009 at 3:46 pm #153523pachecoParticipantNot yet…the logos never, ever got into the contour on the E-150 properly…so it is a continuous bubble.
May 3, 2009 at 5:30 pm #153524AnonymousInactiveI never really started with any bubbles, and luckily am still that way. (knock on wood) Logos look great still.
August 31, 2010 at 6:21 pm #153525AnonymousInactiveIt would be nice to get at least the blue and red in a repair kit of some sort. I know very well I can put my wrap on a whold lot better than the clowns did at Sign O Rama.
February 3, 2011 at 3:41 am #153526NJ05ParticipantMy Logos have become checked and are starting to peel. I have had to remove a portion inorder to stop the peeling.

February 14, 2011 at 3:57 am #153530AnonymousGuestI drove up to Rexburg and Adam did an AWESOME job putting on my decals!! Perhaps you could fly him out to your market 😀
March 15, 2011 at 2:10 am #153531KS07ParticipantMy logo’s are peeling a bit over the wheel wells. But they still look pretty good otherwise. I believe that these logos are only designed to last about 4 to 5 years but I could be wrong.
March 29, 2012 at 7:11 pm #153532RandyLaytonParticipantMine have cracked and peeled so bad on my passenger side that my van looks bad! Sign O Rama did a bad job. Granted my decals are the first generation ones that came out in 2006? I live in California so its pretty hot all the time and sunny. Wondering if I can get jut the passenger side decal set. My driver side has a few bubbles that have popped, but I can live with it. I cant park in my garage because my model train set takes up the whole garage. 8)
March 29, 2012 at 9:35 pm #153533AnonymousInactiveI think many of us have had similar issues. All of my issues go back to the applicator. Since 2006 we have learned a lot on the logo issues. Finding the right applicator is the most important. The way I look at this too is that signs are never meant to last a life time. Basically the old logo has cost us about $300 per year. The way we look is soooo important. If our first impression is our van, we need it to look great. I’m replacing the logos on one of my vans next week. I feel it’s one of my best investment in my business.
March 31, 2012 at 3:04 am #153534AnonymousInactiveOur image is very important in this business. Our new logo has been a great thing for each of you. The logo wrap will only last about 5 years. Some of you will get more mileage out of them depending on how you wash them, where the van is kept when not working, your temperature change, etc. The cost of a new set of logos is $1,100.00. We are printing all of them on our own machine and on quality material. This way we can control the quality better than when we had it contracted out to Sign-A-Rama. One thing we have noticed the last couple of years is the cost of installation has gone down in most areas. I have heard recent costs of $100.00 to $400.00 for installation. You still need to be selective on who you have install them. At the end of five years, many of you may need to update or replace your van.
A $1,200.00 to $1,500.00 investment over a five year period is only $.66 to $.82 per day. That is very inexpensive advertising. Everything wears out eventually–our equipment, our pads, our vans, and everything else. We all have a cost of doing business. Equipment replacement, pad replacement, van replacement, and logo package replacement is all part of the cost of doing business. Every business has to replace items to stay in business. It is just part of the cost of being in business.
March 31, 2012 at 5:10 am #153535AnonymousInactiveProblem with being printed at corporate is a local guy doesn’t nescarly want to instal signs he didn’t print. It’s kinda like some on calling us to put protecter down after another cleaner cleansed the carpet.
April 5, 2012 at 5:54 pm #153536AnonymousInactiveThe business that installed my logos didn’t care who printed them especially after I filled them in of the issues with sign a rama. They looked at the logos and checked out the material and said, “Yup, we will install them for $300.” No issues with cracking or bubbling even around the recessed areas. They did tell me that they were going to make contour cuts in the areas of the recesses so they would not bubble or crack. These areas are not seen from 2 feet away. There is a pencil line size line of white paint that shows in these areas. They will definitely be doing my next set!!!!
