I don’t really expect a response. I just want to send this message to the great cyber space -unknown.

This morning a very dear friend of mine passed away. He, being only a few years older than I, the memories, laughs, tears, concerns we have had (children the same ages). I am left thinking, the relationships we build are by far the best things in life. Never let a day go by without pondering the good positive things that happened to you and the people that have helped make it happen! Life really is a short fragile thing.

It was a very wise person that said

“The best things in life, are not things”

The funeral was today. This was my second best-est friend ever. I have a very strong belief in the after life. However this has effected me much stronger than I ever thought it would or could.
I guess what I’m trying to say is, our life is on barrowed time, and so is your loved ones. Make the time to make a difference with the ones that really matter.

I am right with you Gordon, I too believe in the after life. Our relationships can continue for the eternities. Although death may be difficult for those left behind, it is an essential step in our Heavenly Father’s plan for us. I believe that we lived with God before this life as spirit children, we came here to recieve a physical body and that dying is just a part of the plan. I too have lost many loved ones, but this knowledge leaves me at peace when they move on to the next life. You will be with your friend again someday Gordon.
