This only applies to operators that have their own website. Meaning if you have a website that is NOT http://www.heavensbest.com.
Several companies have contacted the corporate office trying to ‘renew’ the domain name http://www.heavensbest.com. They state in their letter that the domain is about to expire and that if you don’t want to loose your domain you need to send them money to renew.
If you read the fine print you’ll notice that they are NOT the company that you have your domain name registered through and that what they are offering is not just a renew, but a transfer of the domain registration to their company.
This is a complete scam and if you search the company names on the internet, you’ll find endless sites saying they are very bad companies.
Company names to watch out for:
Domain Registry of America (DROA)
Domain Renewal Group (DRG)
Domain Registry of Canada (DROC)
Internet Registry of Canada (IROC)
