I was just wondering if anyone was able to start their new website yet with this company called Hyperion? I have filled out their registration form a month and a half ago and still haven’t heard anything? I even called? Nothing! I would like any feedback anyone has about your experiences with getting a website from this company and how their customer service and communication has been towards you.
April 28, 2012 at 7:00 pm #155524AnonymousInactiveit took some time to get mine up and running, I called quite a bit. I signed up on there websight intionaly, they never got back to me so I called them. then they had me go sign up again and enroll the websight I wanted and pay them (i opted for the year, as I hate monthly payments) they enitionaly told me the web sight would be up and running in 10 days, it took like 15 they are still working the bugs out trying to get a system that gives us enough controll but streamlines there system. I am undr the impresion that there are going through some growing pains. f you want to check it out My websight is

April 30, 2012 at 11:44 pm #155526AnonymousInactivePat, I think you are right as far as growing pains. I also wonder if the recent Google overhaul has had an effect.
I actually build websites/do graphic design for a living. I have a lot of experience with SEO and honestly, was a little skeptical, nobody can promise first page results. Google is constantly changing their “algorithm” and they crack down on sites that abuse these “sure” methods all the time. You can search the SEO community and within the last month or so many sites that were ranked high, but used what is called “black hat” methods have disappeared off of Google completely. That is a big concern. They are very strict about where your links come from, whether your address is a “real” location and a lot of other details. I worried about if we went with them and decided to leave at some point would we lose our domain name and phone numbers that customers were used to contacting us with.
My husband and I sat at a table with some of the guys who were already using them at our recent conference and got a chance to talk to them about the results. Honestly, I have gone back and forth in my head over and over but those results just couldn’t be argued with so we decided to give them a go. I spoke to Kyle Chase with Hyperion several times on the phone and exchanged emails. We were going to use our website which I built on WordPress (because I am happy with the design, information and backend usability) and incorporate their program (whether by porting my design into their system or including their system in wordpress)…we were going to go with 4 sites to cover the different areas we have (which would have been $200/mo).
The last contact I had was March 28th. I’ve emailed since to get an update, but have heard nothing…so obviously we’re done with them. I’m not sure what all is going on, on their end, but I’ve learned that sometimes God shuts doors and to listen when He does. I’ve since spent a lot of time really digging in to our SEO on my own, and we’re moving up as a result. We’ve actually moved up faster in Yahoo and Bing and depending on the rotation we show up towards the top of the first page on those. We’ve also incorporated Google Adwords Express (which is part of the adwords program, but specially designed for local businesses and is a lot less guessing) and are getting multiple phone calls a day just from that. It is what we are putting our advertising dollars into until we move up more in organic rankings….which can take 6 months on average.
If anyone would like some help with their sites’ SEO or site in general feel free to email me (l.crowley@heavensbestocala.com). I am happy to help….with things to do or not to do. 🙂
This is Lauryn, not Andrew. 🙂

I would stop calling and emailing them, that’s a big sign of things to come. Many disappointments. 🙁
Well your thoughs about this company made my mind up and I feel sorry for Pat. It looks like they rushed a website up for you so you would stop calling them. Not impress with the website, looks cookie cutter and poor copy graghics. Maybe there not done?
I don’t think I am going to trust them with my website and SEO, they can’t even send out a weekly email to the ones that filled out a online form or return a phone call. How are they going to responed to estimate requests or the SEO of my website. What if the website goes down or gets ranked low, is it going to take months till I can get a hold of someone to fix it because they are having growing pains. They lost my trust, too bad. I guess I’ll do it myself or find someone to do it right.May 1, 2012 at 3:56 am #155528AnonymousGuestFrom the get go they sounded to me as too good to be true. I believe they sold Heaven’s Best a bill of goods in which they cannot deliver. I have been more then happy with my current web designer, SEO and PPC provider, however, I promised I would give Hyperion a call. I talked with Kyle for 45-minutes and explained my unique situation with my large geography and wanting to keep my existing website. It took several minutes of me telling him there was absolutely NO need for me to have several mini sites when I have had a site for the last four years that served me well. He said he would get back with me with a program tailored to my needs. A week went by so I decided to contact Kyle again. I could tell from the conversation he didnt remember our original call. They will not get my business. Always go with gut instinct!!
May 1, 2012 at 2:29 pm #155529AnonymousInactiveAll good points….whether you choose to go ahead with them or not. I know they have done good, even great things for some. Just be very aware of what is representing you online. We get the bulk (over 90%) of our new business from the internet. It is split pretty evenly between Google and a message board in one of our territories. They both send people to our website and if that goes down or doesn’t provide the right image/information…..that is a BIG hurt.
Mark I really like the layout of your site. It is clean and has great content. I like the contact/estimate form loading right in the sidebar of every page. Definitely going to implement that.
*Just throwing this out there. For any of you that have blog pages on your site. Keep it active. I know it is hard to think up fresh content, but Google loves fresh content and it helps your rankings significantly from a couple standpoints. A. the new content (of course) B. If your content or pictures are clicked on during someone’s search for (insert any topic), it is driving traffic to your site. Part of your ranking is based on traffic as well. Even if that particular traffic isn’t for your service but for information on a certain topic, it makes your site rank higher when it comes to people searching for your service.
May 1, 2012 at 7:09 pm #155530AnonymousInactiveWell I paid for a year, Im willing to let them do there thing but they have alot of work to do to keep my bussines
May 1, 2012 at 10:41 pm #155531AnonymousInactiveI’m not gonna lie, the presentation (not presenter) and numbers presented by Hyperion during the convention were impressive. Like many of you I’m sure, I get calls daily/weekly from companies claiming they can get me on the front page of google and/or create me a great website. In the end, for me, it came down to the service they provide (both customer, SEO and page itself). Taking those into account I went with a local company (before I heard about Hyperion). We are happy with them and they are readily available to make any changes we request. We even told them during our initial talks that we wouldn’t hesitate to come knock on their door if we weren’t happy with their response time. Haven’t really had to do that yet. They weren’t cheap, but they also offer us customer email management applications, so I feel we are getting good bang for our buck. Plus, they came recommended from someone I know. I know we won’t make page 1 right away, but I plan on slowly building our way up there as ours is still a work in progress. Last time I checked, our blog was on page 4 for “carpet cleaners denver” and our site hasn’t been around too long. I have considered talking to hyperion to see if they could build separate city pages to feed off our main site for the other cities in our area. Unfortunately, what I am hearing so far goes back to my reason for using who I use. Hopefully Hyperion gets their act together as they appear to know their stuff otherwise. Something to consider when you are looking at your options. Just my 2 cents….
May 2, 2012 at 6:23 am #155532AnonymousInactiveOne thing that come two mind, and why im not to upset is we all started somewhere. When I decided I wanted to be a landlord I had I great older couple who was willing to carry paper so I had no money to put down. Bob Wenzel offerd to sell me the Hb franchise with no money and both of those parties have been pretty darn patent with me over the years. So I guess is what I’m saying is who knows where I’d be if others hadn’t givin me the chance. 550 for the year is a cheap websight if it takes them some time to go through the growing pains I’m ok with that.
I’m not making excuses for them and do believe They have some issues that need to be delt with, and hopefully sooner then later 🙂May 2, 2012 at 1:39 pm #155533AnonymousInactiveGood points all and Pat, I get the growing pains thing. I would be willing to wait and give them a shot. We’re brand spanking new at this ourselves and had to have people willing to take a chance on us to get started. My BIG problem is the lack of communication. When someone is willing to give you a couple hundred bucks a month to do what you do…..you need to stay in touch. Even if it’s just to let them know you haven’t forgotten them but things are taking longer than expected.
Really it’s been a good lesson for me on staying in constant communication with clients. 🙂
By the way, hope everyone is having a GREAT week!

I just visited the (Heavens best websites) website and re-did my registration. It took me through the whole process and gave me options of what website layout I would like. It seems like things are coming along. You can even edit your site.
May 6, 2012 at 7:30 pm #155535AnonymousInactiveI would like to defend Kyle and Ryan at Hyperion. I was the second operator to sign up with Hyperion. Jim Bonner was the first. They have been very helpful in getting my websites ranked higher. My sites took longer than Jim’s to get near the top. Now I have 3 of 4 sites on the first page. I believe my fourth (which was implemented about 6 months ago) will be on the first page by month 12. Every area is different and there is not a company out there that has perfected Google’s SEO. If anyone has researched what other SEO companies charge I really believe you can not find a better deal than Hyperion. The results will not be immediate, but just like building your business you have to be patient.
Do a Google search on- “carpet cleaning Westport CT” “carpet cleaning Fairfield CT” “carpet cleaning Norwalk CT” you will see where I am listed. The companies (Triple S and DMS) have been in business for 20-40 years. I started in Sept 2010.
My sites- http://www.heavensbestct.com
http://www.heavensbestfairfield.com
http://www.heavensbestnorwalk.com
http://www.heavensbeststamford.comI would be happy to talk to anyone. My cell is 203-451-6686
May 6, 2012 at 9:04 pm #155536AnonymousInactiveI believe they will be able to do wich they set out to do, the issue is setting up a system where we have enough user control while keeping there labor down on the websight itself so they can concentrate on ranking all the sights
May 16, 2012 at 12:38 am #155537KY13ParticipantI have been with Hyperion for a couple of years now. Their customer service is horrible. I was actually on the verge of having corporate do my website, when I heard the news that they were no longer offering the service and were actually endorsing Hyperion. What a slap in the face. They never return any of my phone calls or emails. In the rare moments they do, I let them know that their level of customer service is unacceptable. All I get is “Sorry Sorry Sorry”, but it never gets any better. Everybody at Heaven’s Best as a whole needs to band together and let them know that we won’t stand for it. They either need to shape up or ship out.
