So I did a demo at a Crown PLaza hotel today. It used to be a Hilton. The guy was knocking portable systems. On the way to the room he said he used a few truck mounts and tried a portable. The one company he said charged to little. So my question is what is every one else charging for hotels? I don’t want to be to high and I don’t want to be to cheap.

Did you look like the best carpet cleaner he had ever seen?
Did you do the best job he had ever seen?
Were you quick? Professional? On time? All your equipment inside. No hoses out to a noisy truck. Available by phone all the time(thanks Tim Nemeth)
Did you knock his socks off?

And most important, Was it Dry in 1 hour?
Good, then Charge him lots, guarantee him FANTASTIC service and look after him.
If its too much $$$, then back peddle. or include disinfectant with every cleaning.

    Ditto, Dennis

I would also talk protector and anything else to build the VALUE! Even if they choose not to have the additional service. Build the best value for the bucks. We can do spot dyeing, carpet repairs, protector, disinfectant, gum removal, odor removal, Dry in 1 hour, and find a date for your daughter, (drop the last one). We are a service and we do best when we act like the name we carry, “Heaven’s Best” service. When we do this everything else falls into place.

About price- ask what others are charging (for just the carpet cleaning). If you are the best, you can charge more and get more, and probably the most important, keep the work too.
