I just received a call (953 area code) from someone representing “Home Advisor”. They said they are partners with Heavens Best and would like a moment of my time. I asked them to call me back. Anyone heard of this group?
Never heard of them (although I’m sure they have solicited me). Here is what a quick google search found. Appears they may be associated with Service Magic in some capacity.
This months newsletter speaks to Home Advisor which is formerly Service Magic.
To those using Home Advisor or Service Magic, how is it working out. Any insights?
I decided that at approx $9 per lead what the heck and signed up. No short or long term committments so what the heck. Rep indicated there has been some issues in past as servicemagic but hiose issues have been resolved. It appears from their online presentation that this will get me into a couple of communities that I am not in much. I’ll update as things progress.
Just an update, I have received 2 notifications since I joined up with home advisor. Both appear to be just kicking tires, looking for information and pricing. One was very harsh, with a demanding attitude and the other never returns a phone call or email. Both jobs will be small if I get them. I’ll see what happens in the near future. Paying for these two is not worth it at this time. Maybe it will get better. I’ll give it a fair shot.
