Hello,
I have done a couple of wood floors and recently have noticed a couple of things that could be a concern to customers:
1. After the floors are completed (even after several days), if you wipe a towel across the floor, there is a dark grey film that comes up (I think from the steel wool pad).
2. Normal hardwood cleaners cannot be used on the floors anymore because they seem to haze them up.
Has anyone else noticed this and is there any advice out there on ways to fix this?
How many uses can you get out of a single-side of the steel wool?
How many can you get out of the white buffer pad? And, can it be cleaned?
Any suggestions on how a customer can mainain their floors after we clean/wax them? What type of cleaner, if any, can be used?
I want to start promoting the woodfloor part of the biz, but want to be able to handle these concerns first…
Any input on these issues is appreciated.
Thanks
